I prefer the AS50 over all sniper rifles. It just feels the best for my style of playing. It does have the downfall of the small mag but with EMags its fine.

I remember someone posted a thread on here before about whats the difference between the AS50 and the Barrett .50cal. Im incredibly used to the AS50 sinse its the only sniper I really use but I recently equipped the Barrett and I notice that it zooms in more than the AS50. Im not sure if this is already a known fact or not but after my gf is finished playing Skyrim Im going to do a split screen to see if its true, unless anyone here already knows.

For me the Barrett is the better of the 2... if you want the lower magnification then you can slap on a variable or thermal scope. 

AS50 has a very low fire cap, unlike the barrett, which has 1200 RPM.

RSASS and Dragunov also fire at 1200 RPM.

I like the Barrett more, I can spray with it at close range to get OSKs.
