I'm not trying to bash mw3 (love the call of duty series just idk im just not too crazy about it right now) but I'm just not feeling its as good as mw2. I just cant seem to stay interested as much.. mw2 I at least had more fun by myself. (almost feels like the same game with basically 3 major new things.(killstreaks / elite stuff / survival to special ops ) since special ops was new it was cool and throwing knife was my best secondary and sometimes primary if I got crazy.
Then only adding what use to be wager matches in black ops only playable in private/same screen multiplayer seemed kind of pointless unless you played with your friends. (for the longest time didn't even know it was their till my friends came over and were like what the hell..)
In the end I find myself playing zombies in w.a.w. or in black ops since that is always entertaining.. Or a completely different game in general.
elite part is cool and everything but after the hype is over its just like sigh : /. maybe if you spend your life on mw3 it might not be boring provided your doing all the stuff you can do with elite.
I enjoyed the game while it lasted. ( i still try and see if it gets any better after every patch but playing on ps3 you get screwed since xbox gets stuff a month ahead... already thats a buzzkill to playing the game)
Who know maybe its just the same play style after awhile thats got me bored..
Point being what does mw3 have to really keep interest?
Not that this is an interest but it kind of is. Sensitivity most likely the most over powered thing in the game.. Gives you a free quickdraw perk and does good if you like to spray and pray. (i just think making it not go past setting 3 would be the best to just add another level of strategy into the game since highest level is just plain ridiculousness.( more of a why you put it so high in the 1st place? but oh well no big deal just plain stupid to have it to be so high.)) to add to sensitivity i thought 1st person shooters were suppose to be harder not make it easy if you decide to take the time to learn this nonsense.
One thing I noticed is sometimes when it shows last kill it can be like 1 to 2 feet or more away and still get the kill. Seemed like mw2 was not so bad with that. (sometimes I feel like if its the last shot of the game they give you a little leeway or something because I have seen some kills that were like... really?)
Make your own fun.
MW3 may be a simple, arcade shooter, but there's plenty of fun to be had other than playing the game normally.
Err we've playing the same core game for half a decade or so it's bound to get stale...
Didnt get bored of CoD4, MW2, or BO.
MW3 had no period of fun. Now i'd rather watch paint dry.
It's just this installment, not necessarily the series itself. Otherwise, every game series over 5 years would be considered stale because once a series has a winning formula, it's sticking to it.
IN TREYARCH I TRUST(somewhat)
