STRICT NAT TYPE?!

why is my nat type strict, infinityward.com/nat doesnt work and i cant play online with my friends because of it, just going to stop playing mw3 until you guys sort this out, it makes me so angry

if you have a copy of mw2 you can use that to change your nat type to open

You need to go into you router through your computer and change your nat type to open. Once you do that you can play online with ease.

  type the name of you router online.. there you will find a manual of some sort mate.. look in there.. you need an open or moderate nat type to have more success in coneecting to people..

If you are using a router, NAT type 2 is open.

Leave it strict you will never be host and the game might actualy be playable.

My nat type is also strict.I tend to not really get any lag though so your lag is not COD's problem its purely yours to find a faster supplier.

All I do for this is unplug my router, wait for about 30 seconds, plug it back in. Once it reconnects you should be good to go. Works like a charm for me everytime.

I agree with the keeping it strict...mine is strict, i play with one of my mates and rarely get lag issues, except when the rest fo the family is on the net

Turn UPNP off on your router. Then you will be open.

If it doesn't work Google Telnet settings for you router and apply via your pc.
