This is an americanism, they I I could care less when they really mean I couldn't care less and its used so much they don't understand the difference.

It doesnt, for I have won matches for my team by getting the last objective and my kd is only .94 I could have a 1.0 or higher if I cared about it. Would not be hard to get that by ignoring the objective and just kill whoring for a stat that really does not matter once the console is turned off or a different game is played instead.

So really k/dr is not that important to everyone that plays the game and no it is not a useful determiniation on how well or good they play the game. Since it is just the average k/d over a long period of time and not a daily or hourly k/d which would represent how they are playing for that day or time period. Averaged stats are useless to determine how well a player can do at any given point in time.

Until they allow k/d and w/l to be filtered by all time/monthly/weekly/daily/hourly they will really mean nothing in the game and should not be held as high and important as so many people do all the time. Each time frame means completely different things. A person can have a low all time k/d or w/l but that does not make them a bad player, yet those that see that number think it does. An hourly or daily k/d or w/l are a better represntation of the players ability to play the game.

Long-term averaged stats are not the best thing to try and judge another player by ever in any game.

well , you have your opinion , i have mine. personally i play almost nothing but hc/tdm.. so when i get 2 or more ppl that cant maintain at least a 1 to 1 ration  , well sir , that means my team loses. and ppl that go 1-17 regularly  , lmao... your pretty much screwed with em.

I used to havea 3.7KD and now I only have a 3.3KD and I am a better player. That being said- KD is a good way to see HOW someone plays moreso than how GOOD they are. When I hada a3.7KD I camped more nad played FFA now I rush and Play Dom and my weekly everage is a 2.9
