A question for those who dislike MW3...

First I dont mean this as smartass in anyway and I dont want anyone to take offense to this. But my question is why do you still play the game lol? Why dont you play a CoD you prefer? I can tell you right now if Black Ops 2 multiplayer is anything like Blops1, I will be mixing it up between MW1, 2 and 3 the for another year. I will definately play Black Ops 2 for zombies tho but go back to MW for multiplayer. So like I said I am just curious and please dont take offense.
Because we paid $60 for the game and if we sell it we lose like $40 on it so that's a stupid idea. If someone bought elite that's another $60 they would lose if they sold or didn't play it anymore. It's just a matter of money. Also I'm sure everyones friends are playing it so if they want to play with their friends then they have to play it.
we play it.... because its the latest call of duty.. lol
You know for a couple of month there I actually though I loved it after playing it constantly, after the weekend and playing Bops I realized that I didn't love it, was only used to it, now going back to Bops for a couple of month and the game is going to my brother until the new maps are released to the public quite simply because I paid for Elite so want to get a shot of my new content.
Dualy noted. Thanks for the responses. It definately sucks buyin a new game and then not liking it, ive been there. Usually I trade it in and take the lose asap because the longer u wait the less you will get back. I feel for those who bought ELITE and dont like the game.
Because we want the game to improve. But to improve the game you have to play the game.
just to try and better my rankings....don't hate me....![]()
Rankings are just as good as any reason lol

I bought the Hardened Edition which comes with all the DLC, so I still play a little to check out the new maps and to play with friends.
I do, however, go back and play Black Ops with my brother, and when my nephews come over, they play Black Ops, not MW3.
I can't wait for Black Ops 2. I hope it has the same TTK as Black Ops; makes it much more fun to play.
Firstly, I've already spent $NZ 230 on the Hardened Edition & already pre-paid for new maps.
Secondly, a majority of my mates have sold Black Ops for MW3 so I don't get to party up with them. The time I play Black Ops are with mates who play zombies only.
Because we want the game to improve. But to improve the game you have to play the game.
Lastly, this
I don't find MW3 completely unplayable but the negatives outweigh the positives compared to Black Ops. The only two aspects of Black Ops that frustrated me the most was Second Chance & the choppy hit detection. If I was ever frustrated at Black Ops, I'd just play zombies. Spec Ops survival is just bland when you can only have 2 players.
Same reason why people buy new madden, fifa, mlb, nba, nhl... etc. each year, its the new game and i want a new expierence with new maps and such.
Lag is the only issue i have with MW3 and i want it to be fixed because BO2 is few months away and i have nothing else to play.
Friends play it.
Fast, fluid precision. I play other shooters, but none of them feel as fast-paced, liquid slick, & razor sharp as Call of Duty. Something about the player movement & weapon aiming in other shooters just feels sluggish & imprecise to me.
I also like the quick time-to-kill in CoD. Enemy engagements are usually decided swiftly.
And there's never a dull moment. You never have to go far or wait long for something to happen. There's a target around every corner... or in every corner. ![]()
There's also good variety that keeps every match interesting. You never know if you're going to get in a lobby full of run-&-gunners, or campers, or quick-scopers, or pro-pipers, or any combination of play-styles.
I like a lot of games, but nothing else scratches the shooter itch for me quite like Call of Duty.
MW3 definitely has technical problems that frustrate the heck out of me. Like a gambler with an addiction, I just keep rolling the dice hoping the next lobby will be a good one (lag-wise & spawn-wise). By sheer statistical circumstance, sometimes I get a good roll & sometimes I get a bad one.
...And like any casino, the pay-offs from the good rounds often have a tendency to make me forget about my losses from the bad ones & keep me going back with higher hopes of even bigger pay-offs.
I am one of the palyers that actually quit. I played for about 2 weeks and that was it. I have been enjoying Black Ops ever since. MW3 is just way out of sync as to what a COD should be. Nothing will probably ever surpass COD4 for its simplistic fluid gameplay, but as far as "modern" COD games goes, Black Ops is by far the best. This is including W@W, MW2, and MW3.
As a player that gets host 99% of the time, this game is literally unplayable. I play hardcore modes only and it is literally like 11 other players in the lobby are playing hardcore and I am playing core against enemies that have jugg and ballisitc vests. Also as host there were TONS of times where I would sneak up behind an enemy a unload 7-8 shots in their back only to have them turn because they heard the sound of my gun and panic spun shooting killing me instantly.
I really wanted this game to be good, but it failed miserably. I went on vacation and brought MW3 with me and played it on a hotel's internet connection and it was night and day. I have a 50 down and 5 up connection at my house with 15-20 ms ping to ANYWHERE in the US, and at the hotel it was a 1 download and like a .45 up with 150 ms ping to a 50 mile away server. The game played almost flawlessly on this garbage connection. I literally felt invincible. The lag comp is HUGE in this game. It punishes people for having a great connection.
I looked the other night and I literally have 13 hours into the multiplayer on MW3 and over 30 DAYS on Black Ops. All of the other COD's all the way back to COD1 I have over 10 days played. I have yet to prestige in MW3 and STILL have 15 hours of 2x XP from the Mountain Dew promotion. I will probably never use it. In my experience the ONLY players that enjoy MW3 are people with poor internet, quickscopers, cheaters, and bad players.
I don't like mw3 but i still play it because i don't find other cods as competitive as the newest cod and also just because it is the newest that means that all or atleast most of my friends play it. I cant wait for Black ops 2 because im pretty sure that it will be amazing just like any other treyarch game. And also zombies and gambling games are pretty awesome. Oh and last thing i think that black ops multiplayer was better than any other infinity ward's game multiplayer.![]()
I still play for the reasons listed, and this...the older games are hacked so bad they are almost unplayable. If W@W was still supported, I probably would be playing that, as it was my favorite COD.
Which also explains why it is no longer supported, no one would buy new releases.
I still think MW2 and MW3 should have just been expansion packs for COD 4.
I hate this game I am only playing till I get to 10th then I will have no motivitaion to play it because theres no point in going to 15th If I have all the custom classes and all the titles from the prestige shop. So once I reach 10th lvl 80 ill use this game as a drink for my coaster for my coke cans while I play BF3, Black ops and world at war which are the only games I enjoy playing atm.
