Norway gunman "trained" on MW2

Word out of the Breivik trial today that he trained for his gun rampage using Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Likely the No Russian mission, right? If it were multiplayer, he would've based his attack on the OMA/DC/Pro Pipe setup rather than actually, you know, shooting people. Sick to think I could've been playing a MP game with this guy.

Someone in another post said and I copied and pasted it. Not sure if it is about the same thing, but it fits perfectly for this story.

Just what CoD needs; another reason for campaigners to start arguing that CoD makes killers lol.
Why does no one understand that the people who do these things aren't right in the head to begin with? I mean come on, Anders truely belives he is part of some assassins creed story for Gods sake! (A knight templar indeed lol) It doesn't even make sense! playing CoD does NOT teach you how to handle a gun IRL; try some of the stuff you can do ingame and you will blow your arm off!
People need to stop blaming games for the worlds problems; those of sound mind know the difference between real world and fantasy.
The fact that they are saying MW2 trained him shows just what is wrong with the world. Douchebags, if he was a NORMAL PERSON HE WOULD NOT HAVE KILLED ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT HE PLAYED. If this is true, then everybody who plays shooters could become a mass murderer. I am not trying to offend the people who's relative or friend was killed, because I know it is hard to go through. However, the fact that they try to blame it on a game annoys me a lot, because he killed them all because he is crazy. And for no other reason. Simple.
a thread has already been started with this same topic:
I posted a discussion about this a half hour ago. It's amazing how people want to scapegoat everything else when something bad happens. Anders is a sick individual for sure. A typical ideologue who played out his sick fantasy!
Hah, people blaming the games we play reminds me of this old thread.
lol! hilarious
Well, it's a good thing he wasn't trained on MLCPro, otherwise he would've gotten away.

i bet he was in shock when he tried to stab someone 30 feet away from him. and couldn't run forever without stopping.
It would be stupid for some Congress person to push for stiffer regs.that would be like me saying that, this guy was wearing a Nike football jersey while shooting victims and therefore we should ban Nike Jerseys. He drove a Chevy trucitk to commit his crimes and therefore we should crush all Chevy trucks on the road.its stupid.
I used need for speed for training for driving a car.
