Seriously, what's wrong with the MW3 server?

It's been two days in a row now where my connection to the MW3 servers is hit and miss, yet the "MW3 status" page is at "Defon 5"...

I'm about to make a coaster set out of my COD collection.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes I'm having the same issue. It says go to callofduty.com/mw3/status and it says Defcon 5. I don't know why its happening!

Same here. I tried all the router changes and it didn't help. I keep getting the message that tells me the servers are unavailable. I'm in Michigan.

Im in California and am having the same problem. I have attempted many things to fix the problem like:
Restart Router
Place PS3 ip in DMZ
Disable UPnP
Forward ports
None of which changed anything.
UGHHH THIS IS SOO DAMN FRUSTRATING!
I have a Belkin Surf N300 router with a wireless connection to my PS3.
PLEASE HELP!

Exact same problem here in Ontario Canada

I've tried every known fix I can find.

This seems to be a problem on there end.

4 days with this problem.

    I don't see how my exact location will help anything.
    
    This problem doesn't seem to be area specific nor is it a home connection issue.
    It's effecting a number of users in my friend list well others are on with out a problem.
    Hopefully we can get enough attention on the subject and are not ignored because of a limited amount of users effected.

Same problem. PS3 HARD WIRED. in west Michigan. Its bad enough that it snowed today, now I can't murder my frustrations away? Come on!

I also have this problem, and it's getting annoying. I say we all spam IW's twitter til' they do something about it.

Happened here in Vt a couple days ago. Activision support said they had reports of some issues with some Charter ISPs. Shortly after I talked with them I was able to get online and everything seemed ok last night.......except of course the usual off & on lag problems.

Personally I think they may be experimenting with some un-announced patches.
