Re: I camp and I love it

obviously we die to them, but tbh its rare i EVER find a camper with a good KD, sure they may go 21-15, but its rare i ever see someone who camps hard go 10-1 or something, i just know how to deal with them, and sure they may get me a few times but its fun at the end of the day.

however you get many people who go for a revenge kill again, and again, and again and again until they ragequit.

less than 2 hours ago i got a moab on arkaden using an aa12, cos 3 people on the other team were trying for evenge at stupid close encounters vs aa12 + damage + extended mags.

i didnt camp, i was running in and out the building, but knew how the players were going about.

at the end of the day, its revenge killers without the right set up that die many times to campers, i just post a c4 to them.

what i dont get is why cant anybody just play the dam game and leave everybody's playing style alone. if you camp, you camp. if you run and gun then that is your game style.

This seems to be a never ending issue with people. It will alway's be a fact that peoples play style will differ so the whole argument is mute.

I'm a more defensive player and get accused of camping all the time. In truth what I do is move forward checking corners and lines of sight, take out a couple of players at a choke point while shooting from cover to lessen my chance of being killed. Then pick up and move to the next location and repeat.

The aim of TDM and many other game types is to kill but not be killed and this style of play is advantagous in that respect. It's also what the guys out there shooting real bullets at each other are trained to do.

The snipers out there who are really good know that you fire if possible one shot from a secure location then pick up and move to a new one so you won't be spotted and overrun by the advancing force. But essentially you have to camp to some degree because of your weapons disadvatages.

Similarly there are tools given to you that can help over come a defensive team. Flashbangs, Concussion/grenades, RPG's etc are all there to aid you in "breaching" a defensive line. If you find you do badly against a defensive team then stop and watch the kill cam (your biggest advantage) then figure out how best to get an explosive in that area or at least close enough to push the players out.

It's certainly possible because I've been trounced by many a team who adapted to my defensive teams play style.

And hey some times this can add to the satisfaction because you truly won with your wits rather than with just a faster gun.
