Server of Modern Warfare 3 is down.

Me and a group of friends can not go on mw3, at the moment on xbox live. Fix it please me and a bunch of other people would greatly appreciate your help.

What time will it be fixed. i really like this game.

Yes, it's down. I think it's because of the double experience. I don't know though.

  It's down for some, those who have been on are still playing. I'm guessing server is full and wont let others in until people log out.

    nope i got kicked entirely from xbox live about 2 hours ago (about when the problem started) now if screwed

Yeah, I'm in North Dakota and I can't get on MW3. Black Ops seems to be having the same problem.

Yo did I really pay $100 so I the server tells me I can't play? This is unacceptable activision!! I demand a valid reason and a solution soon because you guys got billions of dollars from us and y'all can't respect us enough to make the system bigger so this problems don't happen? Ridiculous! I'm very upset!

    Agreed they are human, they are just people, but if your a major corporation, with a team of 10's of 20 of people to handle just this issue, several hours?

      I guess my annoyance with this isn't that it's down, whatever 15 other games, it's that they have not said one word, about cause, issue, solution, or even acknowledge that they have an issue, that is what http://callofduty.com/mw3/status is for. But just to put one quite tweet on Twitter, because you know those that have not logged out to get the Double XP are still playing thats a little belligerant, and quite unprofessional.

Weird that it says that it is fully operational on the website and then the game says that the servers are down.

  They know that people who have been logged on since they pushed the Dbl XP are still playing, so they are not manning up yet, and admitting a lose. They are simply dilligently working in the background hoping to correct as they go

It is because of the whole "National Day of Unpluging" Everyone gave up electronics at sunset on the 23rd to sunset on the 24th. Here is a link to the madness:
