MW3 is dead.
Correction, MW3 is a crash test dummy dressed as a soldier, it was never LIVE (like Clan Ops)...

You're right they don't care that it's killing peoplpe like me that have a high speed connection. I'm so fed up with getting killed and not seeing anyone on screen but in the killcam they are right in front of me.

smh. Why can kids not get it through their heads that this means that they are lagging. The killcam is from the host's point of view. The better your connection to the host, the greater the advantage that you have.

Nope, you are so wrong, I am a programmer, after tests setting my speeds between 3072kbps and 46kbps I can say for sure the better your connection to host the more lag you will have. The lag compensation code is so ridiculously written that on every host game I got on Domination the first objective was already captured even before I could move. It's so bad that on that on capture the flag at 45kbps I could often run in, kill the entire team, capture the flag, and run out without even being visible to anyone, another clan member watching even said "why couldn't they shoot you" I just laughed and said because they have host, from their perspective I was still outside. On infected I could literally stand in 1 place spin and shoot and got 10 kills at 50kbps. When you throttle your connection you often won't get any hit markers but 1 bullet kills and you can run at least double the speed of everone else, but each game is not consistant since so many people throttle now, even at 50kbps when my NAT was strict I would get 4/5 bars and be insta-killed before spawning. Lag compensation should be removed or at least reduced to no more than 50ms.

i feel your guy's pain same here i pay for a fast connection 30 megs down and 5 megs up. and i get killed by the invisible man with his crappy DSL connection (1.5mbs down and 521kbps up lol) it takes all the fun out of playing they really need to fix this but they dont care they got their money from us.

I have 18 down and 1 up and feel like I have a Jugg suit on in most matches. I can tell when I'm going to have a good game as soon as the matches starts by how my player moves.

35 up /35 down fios connection.
I'm getting hammered on a daily basis. Invisible folks, insta kills on corners (kill cam shows los that wasnt there), No hitmarkers even when dead on, tons of hitmarkers and no kills.
I really really want to love this game, but I have my BF3 copy on its way. Maybe time to call it a day.

They add latency for everyone under the average ping of the lobby (people close to the host & obviously the host himself). Now it’s a hard issue to split down. As having latency itself is a bad thing overall, them adding more of it to people playing locally has been very counter productive to say the least & being a 3 bar is rarely ideal itself, too many out of sync fcked up moments. The best, fairest games are local lobbies where most people have a 4 bar connection, where they don’t have to overcompensate and ruin the game. The balance between 4 and 3 bar players is fcked up, especially if the host has an unstable net & when people download / stream crap fluctuating the bar ratings themselves adding extra latency.

This game is probably unfixable, like a user on this forum once said:"It's a turd ,if you try to polish it you will get very shiny sh_it.
Too bad, it could be such a good game.

Just to put my .02 in here its not just you guys with "top notch net" getting ******. I have 5 and 2 open NAT hardwired, 35 ping with 0 packet loss and have all of the exact same problems and even get stuck hosting 1 out of 10 or so.
I almost cant play in a party as it is no fun shooting 10 shots on target only to get spun and killed. Guys kill me with OSK's with smgs and AR's. Its junk and junk for almost everyone. The theory of people with top notch net getting screwed and people with more normal net having an advantage is BS. I have put enough time in to know when I am getting beat and when the connection is beating me. We are all getting it and it varies day to day game to game. Same lobby same players one game is good the next is laggy as ****. That makes no sense as its the same people in the lobby all with the same internet.
Im sure little Billy playing wireless upstairs while his sister watches you tube on her computer and plays with her Kindle, his mom surfs amazon, and his dad watches porn dont help and I am sure there are tons of housholds who have mult. things connected at once and dont doubt that hurts everyone in the party but dont think only people with "elite" internet are the ones catching it.

I run around18/3.5 and I also have these terrible experiences nearly every damn time out. Did they just rush the game to put it out the same time as BF3 or did they just hire mediocre programmers? Either way, I do have quite a bit of fun playing, but lately it has become more and more frustrating than fun. It's really quite a shame.
