Why did I lost my founder status?

So i bought elite premium recently and i received the premium title and emblem, and i had founder status till yesterday. is there a reason for them to take away someones founder status? I mean its not just me, but some other friends also lost the founder status, and some others did not. Is it random or what?

  when did you purchase elite? if oyu purchased it after Dec 2011, you do not get the founder's benefits. If you recieved those benefits after said date, you were a victim of a glitch that has now been corrected by Beachhead. Hope this helps

    That´s true.
    Some people get for mistake Founder Status also if they has purchase Elite after Dec/13, and now was just corrected.
    
    If you´d bought before, i mean, if really you should be founder, then try to clean cache and cookies, on the PC and on the console (if apply) and delete gamedata and reboot.
