I'm sharing this from Gamefaqs since it's a serious threat for all Wii players.
First link to the video that has been sent to Activision:

Please press like and share with your friends, it is important for us all.
Here headline and link to the discussion on Gamefaqs:
"Member of the Red X clan hacked into my profile earlier today."

Do you think they care? No. I know how they do this. They get a USB Gecko (device that can hack the Wii's RAM and make codes out of it), and down load the leaderboards to it. Then, then inject your profile code (the code that's on your profile that the server sees to find out who you are) into their Wii and log on your account. It happened to me, and eventually the person who did it to me is my friend now. He deserved it if he trash talked a hacker.

Cheaters stick together. You are the perfect example of a hypocrite. Sad.
Wtf dude, gtfo already.
Get over the dam thing and move on with your life. Do you have nothing better to do than waste all of your time hating on Kirby? That's the only time you post... when Kirby posts you immediately call him out no matter what he says. Its almost like you're constantly monitoring the forums waiting for him to post then lashing out at him. Cool your sour grapes and get over it.
Dg3, you cause too much hell enough. Get out.
First off, no one deserves this. Because you can input certain codes into your Wii commit a crime, does not mean I should respect your sorry arse. Hell with that. If you hack, I am gonna verbally abuse you to the point where you don't ever want to touch the game again.
Secondly, nothing will be done about this. IT has been like this since MWR, and it has been going on for a while in MW3. Just learn to live with it till the WiiU comes out, and avoid hackers if you see suspicious business in lobbies.
Lastly, Dg3, you got a problem? Are you trying to troll? Because frankly, your trolling is bad. Are you purposefully aiming hate at Kirby? In that case, a report will be coming you way for instigating a flame war.
No one deserves this.
i would contact nintendo and inform them a person has managed to gain access to your account and deface it and has threatend to ban you. demand some action be taken as him being on your account is fraud so nintendo will have to do something about it.
well, just perfect, mr. Hacker-police comes in and goes DAWF, U BETTA DAN MEH, U HACKA, BAN BAN BAN. retards, see, this is why i want an Xbox
Activision seems to care. Here's a thread where folks are trying to get something done on gamespot/gfaqs:
The seriousness of the issue is being undermined by petty arugments. If nothing else something like this should be pushed to make sure they are aware of it regardless if they can do anything about it or not. They may not be able to fix it on the Wii, but I would stop short of saying they don't care.
As much as you hate hackers, they are always going to be around the wii because there is no real way to combat them other than hack yourself. And as you see in the video, some people don't even hack and yet get accused of it.
So yeah..
@kirby
WTF?!?!?! Making friends with the kid who hacked your profile, wtf kirby!??!
Its like someone stole your identity, and then gave it back and said "hey, no hard feelings?"
Forgive and forget. I don't hold grudges against so one, even if I feel pissed off. Girls hold grudges.
Real men do not forgive. Forgiving's for puss*s.
Girls hold grudges. I rest my case. xD
bahahaha yes
Hmm......Well played fellow troll, well played....
However the only grudge I currently hold is against Activision ![]()
I don't blame you there. ![]()
Bumping this in hopes that WiiAdmin will read it. I know not much can be done right now, but I would like Treyarch to be aware of how extemely bad hacking can be. I know the ability to ban will be based on the online system put in place on WIi U, but it's still up to the developers to put in the effort to do so. Take the Xbox for example. They have someone you can PM who is only there to look into hacking accusations. They are putting in a great deal of effort to stop hacking on that console. I hope Wii U will receive similar treatment.
Also, they can do more to stop hackers on this console. Remember the patch that forced the hackers to make new hacks? They could do that on a regular basis. It may be possible to persuade them to do so if the effort was put into it. Remember when we had the Xm25 glitch? Remember how Activision was spammed and how fast the issue was fixed? It never hurts to try. Similar action from the players could at least be attempted in order to gain more support to stop hacking. Nothing may come of it, but we could at least try. It's a lot better than doing nothing at all and just "accepting it".
The support for this game has convinced me that Treyarch does at least care. It may not be in their budget (even though we know they can afford it) to pay the developers to patch hacks on a regular basis, but maybe it would happen a little more often if everyone banned together for such a cause as we did for the Xm25 glitch. It's better than just sitting here and taking predator missles up the arse.
While I'm at it. WiiAdmin, if you read this, can y'all put a rush on that Akimbo MP nerf? ![]()
They can'r do anything and wii admin has probably read a thousand of these.
Correction. They can, but they just haven't been doing it often. The only thing stopping them is money. Activision is too greedy. This probably would have been a better idea if done when the game came out. I always wondered about something too. Homebrew is a must for hacking if I am not mistaken. Why didn't Nintendo ever release Wii system updates that would ban your console if you had homebrew? From what I have heard, if you have modded your Wii, they can brick it with a system update. If that is true, it makes me wonder why they didn't force you to do a system update every couple weeks that checks for Homebrew or any other mods to your Wii before you could play the game. Regardless Treyarch has the ability to patch the hacks. It just doesn't happen as often as it should. Maybe they will do it again in the next patch if we get one.
You know you just need a few more posts to take over the first page...
I know people that use homebrew just to save using their disk reader. It would be a shame if their wii's were bricked because of hackers, if that makes sense...
It does suck for those people, but they still modded the console.
I cannot believe the wii forums. I was angered a bit by foxhound closing the threads concerning the hacker list but not because the hacker list was a good thing, but i didnt get to tell you guys off about it. A hacker list is stupid and pointless, everybody can change their names and hackers can do it in game. If you cant tell somebody is hacking you probably have called me a hacker for killing the **** out of you. You guys are hardly ever constructive, complaining about everything but never doing anything about it.
Cheating will be here to stay, leave the game if you cant handle it. And if it makes the game unplayable, you write code to fix it. Or buy a new game.
Complain about akimbo fmgs once more plz, you know when you kill somebody they drop their weapon and you can use it on them.
Then you guys choose to use the official forums for commentary video and clan advertisements.
Come on....
I mean i love yall but do you not hear yourselves
You sound just like a hacker. We have had your "type" here before. Think its time for you to let mommy know you wet your pants.
Oh, nvrmd, she is coming in now, I'll just tell her in bed!
Add the LPR clan. Constant UAV, predator missles and im sure red box uav too.
Its important to remember that hackers have brought good into our community aswell. Besides helping people who have been demoted by other hackers I constantly host gametype lobbies like Infected and Gun game for the fun of it. You need to realise that hacking in private matches does not effect you, its the dipshits who hack in public who are the problem.
Since they are going in the account like that you can contact the FBI cybercrimes and they will do something.Because that means that's the same thing that the hackers that hacked PS Network
