Now I understand I have brought up some of these issues before and I have seen others bring these things up, but I have a Proposal from Clan Leaders like myself to yourselves. Many clan Leaders are finding it hard to Control their clan Feeds, For myself I find the Clan Feed is extremely Limited as well as Flawed, between it being filled with useless features and lacking many features that will ACTUALLY help Clans, I find it is the time we as Clan Leaders need to come together to Point out what we actually want and to ask Beachhead to not just fix up problems here and there but to actually tell them what we need so we can get a proper Clan system going.
For Clan Leaders k20a3si, LarManKY and want you to Add a Lock Button to the Elite Feed to stop Non Members from Flooding Feed with Invites adn Spam, I want to Expand on another Idea of theirs and Have a Button which Allows Prospective Members to have a Request to Join and then have the Ability to Turn it Off or On, this could in turn be that all a Prospective Member has to Do is Click the Request Invite and All we as Clan Leaders do is Hit Accept Member and Viola they are in, This will avoid the Annoying Fashion of People signing up for Elite and then jumping on the First Clan they see and Asking for an Invite, followed by us Sending an Invite that is never answered as those people never come back on, or as some have pointed out they do try to accept but since there is a Undetermined Time Limit for them to Accept they click accept and it says Request has Expired. The addition the Request to Join feature is just really more of common sense thing, the current system is needlessly complicated. Allowing us to Turn the Button to Invite on and Off will allow us to control how many Members we want in clan as while 100 might sound Nice I find organising events hard enough with 34 Members. Another Aspect I personally want to See on Elite is Multiple Feeds, the Single Feed is Just not working, as stated the single Feed gets Cluttered with Endless Invites and Spam and it just gets in the way having the ability to have multiple Feeds will be like expanding converstations so there will be the ability to actually organise members for Operations and Training, two things I've now switched to Facebook to handle as it's near impossible on Elite. To help with this the power to Delete Messages would aslo be nice, I have messages that I would love to delete as they are quite nasty but I can do nothing about them (Clicking the Report Button is Useless as even if you do process the infringer, the message still reamins while you investigate and also after they are punished it's still there.
On top of the Above I feel another solution is to have the ability to set up times for Events/Training/Operations/Matches. This entails a clander system much like the one in use in Compete, where we can click on a Day set a time and have it easy for members to see what the Clan is up to. In this way it will allow Clan Leaders to easily organise their Clan.
This is all I can think of so far but I want clan Leaders to put anything they want to see in Elite so we can more effectively monitor, maintain, recruit and organise our clans, as I think everyone can Agree the current set up has a lot to be desired.
