Clan Vs. Clan Matches

I am still wondering why this isnt being addressed?
Clan Vs clan matches would be simple. Multiple game types like Search and destroy, capture the flag, and etc. you have a leaderboard of Wins to loses in this event type and put together teams from around the same score. Clan Ops are fun but people want clan Vs clan matches. What bothers me the most is that I havent seen one response from a forum admin or anyone with an update about this. ELITE has been out long enough, we deserve some acknowledgment about this topic. This is what MOST elite premium members want.
So if this idea doesnt happen? what am i paying for?
yes we get a couple decent maps once a while, But we are paying 50$ a year...
We are paying that much, and yet we cant have a simple 4v4 (or whatever size).
Another point, with this idea put in action, it would FOR SURE attract more people to buy ELITE.
Also for whoever fills up the comments with "well stop paying then", im sorry but that is giving up. I see potential in ELITE, so im not going to turn my head and walk away like that.
Dont let this topic die. Show your support if you feel the same.
We wont get this if we dont ask!!
I also think a great idea would be tournaments. Or clan tournaments. In answer to your question about why they haven't spoken about clan v clan matches is because they are trying so hard to keep up on their initial promises involving clan operations. I know ELITE 2.0 ideas are currently in the making for Black Ops 2 with even more integration. It can only get better from here. And assuming Clan tournaments and battles will bring more people to COD (which it will) then more people will be playing then more money for Activision. So it is defiantly an idea they are trying to incorporate or at least attempting to inoperable into the COD franchise.
Yes, but there is no reason why a multi-billion dollar company should make us wait until black ops 2 to implement something like this. "This" being the main reason why ELITE is even of interest to thousands of gamers.
Dude I'm just telling you how it is. Trust me, Activision is pretty upset at Beachhead for not being able to live up to it's promises, thus losing them lots of money. They are doing the best they can to make up for what they promised. They are not going to start incorporating new ideas, before they have even made their original ones. Hope all you want it's not going to happen. Start campaigning for it in BO2, that's my best bet. I want this as much as anyone. Trust me.
And also that "multi-billion dolllar company" is not responsible for ELITE, Beach Head is.
In the business world...
Activision hired Beachhead.
Thus...
Activision is responsible for Beachheads actions.
If Activision believes Beachhead has acted poorly...
A business such as Activision would fire such company, aka Beachhead.
All in all, it goes back to Activision is responsible for Beachhead.
Hi ive placed a new discussion on elite forum for the same topic. Its not hard for them to do this so lets see the result.
I totally agree bro!! Clan matches would greatly improve the value of CoD Elite and add a whole new aspect of competitive gameplay for competitive players.
They should set the system up like how socom conforation was before all the hackers that game had the best system ever clan battles, tourneys, you could even make ur own rms to try and recurit it was great before all the hackers had to screw it up for everybody.
This even goes back to the days of Halo 2 where they had a specific Clan Battle playlist.
It was ranked so you were playing clans of roughly the same skill level and it worked really well. I don't see why after 7 years that Halo 2 is still one of the only games that got the system right and no one seems to even look at it. They all act like this is new territory so that's why "It is taking us longer than expected"
It's a simple concept. You can do it through custom games right now if you go through GB but i would rather just have it built into the system.
Agreed. The clan I am in we all say the same thing. Clan vs Clan like with search and etc.
I'll just let you know the answer. Was this promised? Yes. Leagues were promised. You want to know why it's taking so long to get stuff done this year in Elite? It's because Beachhead knows that they will have ONE month to gain members for Elite 2.0. They have one month to prove that they have improved themselves enough for people to resubscribe. The free month they gave those who signed up at the beginning will be used to show off all of the features that the new Elite will offer.
You realize that they didn't release Clan Challenges until they worked and had variety? There have been very few issues with Clan Challenges and there have been a good variety. That is their goal. When Elite 2.0 launches, they want to have new features that work from the beginning, and then have new things for old features. For instance, new clan ops. There is a reason that they are only doing TDM and KC ops. I'm sure that Demo is ready and that the new Dom is almost ready. They never brought back Flagged for Removal, which was Dom Defends. Their plan is to bring out all of these new ops and say "Look we have variety! And they work! So fun!"
And before you know it, people are in leagues, doing clan ops, doing clan challenges, and people decide that it's working. And while there will be many that say "I don't care I'm still angry with them about the past year," there are many who will resubscribe due to all the new features.
I paid for Elite with the notion that we would be playing clan vs clan battles, I feel a bit let down t.b.h.
