Yes, I know there are other threads out there.  Yes, I've searched for them and read them.  No, I don't think starting another one is going to speed up anything, but I'm mad as heck and I deserve my own thread!

This is starting to be a joke.  Well, not that it wasn't before, but it is another joke to to add to the laugh factory once known as Call of Duty Elite.  My advice to Activision:  Get someone else to run Elite 2.0.  Beachhead just ain't cuttin' it.

You've all seen those commercials with the monkeys in the office?  I'm beginning to think the person who came up with that commercial has actually visited Beachhead Studios. 

DLC included free was a big sell, but a big focus of their marketing was also on clans and clan ops.  "Clans are live!"  "Clan ops are coming!"  "Tomorrow your most anticipated feature will be functional!"  "Clan ops are here!"  "Level up your clan!"  A whole section of this forum was created just for clans. 

Obviously, they either didn't know what they were doing or didn't know what they were getting into.  Either way, we are the ones who suffer.  I have 81 people in my clan that want to know what's going on.  Most of them are not contacting Activision or Beachhead or Elite.  They are looking at me for answers.  "When's clan ops going to start?" "When are we getting our points?"  "Why aren't there any clan ops this week?" 

I do my best to visit these forums regularly, tweet Activision, Call of Duty Elite, Beachhead, Bowling.  They give the same pat answers.  "We do not have a date, but we are working on it."  If we answered our teachers or bosses that way, we wouldn't graduate or have a job for very long.

I understand that people cheated on the ops.  I understand that its a lot of game footage to watch.  I understand that they want to give the people tthe win that deserve the win.  I understand all that.

What I don't understand is why, every time something doesn't go exactly right, TIIC suddenly vanish and become speechless.  They weren't that way when they were trying to sell us on Elite.  How much time would it take to get some nonessential personnel who has nothing to do with the computer end of it to whip out a tweet or a status update on facebook or forum post to let us know what is going on? 

There's more to customer service than selling a product.  You can't rely on what you did in the past to keep your customer base.  Consumers don't care what you did.  They are all about what you are doing now.  Modern Warfare was big in the past.  If you want to be big in the future, you are going to have to show us what you can do for us in the present.
