Akimbos MP's Nerfed again - First Impressions?

So IW has yet again tried to nerf the Akimbo machine pistols. I believe this is their third attempt at such nerfage, but this time they might have gotten it right. Preliminary game play is definately showing all Akimbo MPS are firing significantly slower now, but I have not heard many people talking about it.
I for one am happy that dimwits running around with these things now have some type of leash on them, but I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed a significant difference or if I am just being overly optimistic.
I still feel they kill just as fast. It was never the FMG's that were OP. It was Akimbo that made them what they are now.
agreed. Akimbo is what makes them OP. No nerf is going to change that, unless they take away akimbo. That is the sorrry sorry fact.
It's something, I guess. It really doesn't solve the issue... I've still been sprayed from crazy distances. I would have survived with Focus on, so maybe it's my fault.
I give them credit for taking action, but how does it make sense that having two guns lowers their rate of fire? Just remove akimbo from the mps.
Nothing in cod makes sense. Althout adding recoil would be the most real-life realistic option to nerfing akimboed mp's, it would just be annoying as heck and it's much easier to nerf fire rate.
I think the FMG9s are to the point now where they don't need another nerfing.
I don't think it'll make a difference to what the devs do to the secondary akimbo machine pistols. I think they should stop bothering to tweak them from now on & start focusing on other tweaks & balance issues in the game.
The mistake was including it in the game in the first place.
To me, it makes the "Overkill" perk a bit of an underused perk. Not completely useless but just not used compared to players with akimbo machine pistols.
I don't think they changed much almost got a moab from stealing this guy's Fmg9's before i got all the perks and died on my 19th kill. Map was seat town.
You do realize that by firing even just a little slower it makes them even a stronger weapon right? By firing slower those with decent aim can still kill people but now do so using less ammo, meaning they have more rounds left to use on more players for more kills.
In close and short range, they still will dominate over a smg or ar, only the aa-12 or striker really has a chance against them if you flank them. Dead on face to face, they can still burn you down almost as fast.
The only reason some players may have moved form them, is that it takes a little more ability at aiming now to use them to the max potential that they have. And many players do not have that ability or accuracy to do so.
I can still use them in DZ and terrorize the enemy team with them because of how they work.
If it filters out the noobs from using them and still make them useable, it sounds like the nerf did it's job.

IW please consider removing Akimbo from the Machine Pistols please.
Will not ever happen, they seldom if ever remove a feature from a weapon. they may block certian things from some playlist, but they never remove an item completely from the game.

Please devs stop listening to all the whining children/adults that can not take dieing and care to much about what another person uses. Is it annoying yes are they over powered who cares. Its a game how can they fix something important when there aer 1000 new post aday with some varient of OMG nerfs the fmg's.
agreed, there are bigger problems to fix then the fmg's or the 95.
Using them in infected they seemed a lot crummier.
Zombies don't stand a chance.
No more nerfing is needed on them. Ever again.
Why is it difficult to nerf these akimbo pistols. I'm still annoyed by these guns. This is what they need to do.
-Wider hip spread. Make the hip spread the default size of the akimbo handguns from MW2, MK14, or LMGs without steady aim. Akimbo handguns are fine in MW3.
-Reduce the damage and range of the machine pistols to 20-15 . It's ridiculous they are on par with SMGs. They easily outgun shotguns which are primary weapons. I honestly think machine pistols should out-gun a primary shotgun unless they made shotguns secondaries again.
Lol The nerf actually buffed the guns. they lowered the fire rate of the FMGs making them more accurate, GG try again.
Just started using M9 single today. It kills like a primary.
Yeah, but wait till you try and go against an ACR with RDS and Suppressor (What idk, 50% of people use on mw3)
