This is Lag Compensation.  I gave up playing this title for the reason showed in the video.  I have a very nice fiber-op 40D 30U very low ping in North America with no packet loss.

Excellent Video! exactly what I notice in the game between my screen and the Killcam/theater. I think the worst for me was my attempt at knifing a guy that was running away from me and as I got close enough to knife him in the back I fell over dead. Watched the killcam and came to find out that HE slowed down and I ran past him and HE stabbed me in the back.

Yep, happens to me as well. I notice it when I'm shooting someone at medium to long range. Multiple hitmarkers but no kill. I think what's happening is, since the person is slightly ahead of me, I'm shooting where I see them, but they've already moved or ducked.

Also, seems like every kill cam I watch, the person effortlessly killed me. A quick <pap><pap><pap> and I'm dead. I seem to have to bury half a clip into someone at range to get a kill. I burst fire with the G36C and sometimes it takes me 4 trigger pulls to get a kill, with hitmarkers the whole time. But I'm usually dead before I get to the 4th burst.

ok one thing to add - it sounds like fixing lag is an engine issue, and ain't no patch 1.09 gonna fix that. it reminds me of when mac went to 64bit, it's a big deal, took a lot of work, but was way worth it
