Only $49.99 to be seated in the first class "Elite Premium" seating. You get to see all the scenery before anybody else!

Thank you for the video.  As one of the people that this affects everytime I play,   I greatly appreciate the time and effort put into the video.  It really sheds some light on this particular problem,  which for me personally is my biggest issue with the game.

Whether IW will actually do something about it?  Those of us who suffer horribly from Lag Compensation can just hope.

    Thanks again capp00.

Yeah this has been an issue since black ops. Many of the forum regulars would constantly belittle and blame poeple complaining about lag comp in the BLOPS forums. they would say it plays fine for me must be on your end lol.

Its nice to see atleast IW has been a bit more upfront with the issue. treyarch actually said it was in our heads. Im no longer buying COD day 1 anymore im waiting to see if treyarch can actually fix the lag comp issues this time.

    Re: This is Lag Compensation

Totally agree. It was actually way worse at launch that the no reaction time is so obvious all the time in chance encounters. This actually turned me into something like 'shootoutphobic', the fear of shooting out and getting shot at, simply because gun-on-gun battle means death or a mere vision of the enemy looking at you means respawn time. So, I stopped doing frontal assault and started to move cover and cover and only shoot when the enemy is not looking my way while always aiming. But mind you, the quicker players would still win, they react to your shots and shoot you back and you lose.

It toned down with the succeeding updates but there are still remnants of lag compensation with the latest update, as what is shown in the video. This fck up really turn COD loyals into haters because of the frustration and rage.

The sad thing was that MW2 did somehow balance it out. (apart from a couple of magic bullet issues). Only the host had a slight advantage, the rest of the players in the match (unless you're 1 or 2 barring) were closely in sync with one-another.

Not sure why Black Ops/MW3 went in a completely different direction into what MW2 achieved in terms of connectivity.

Capp's video sums up my experience playing as host or when I'm 4 barring. I always seem to get the jump on one player first but I end up losing due to my first couple of bullets not registering.

Yeah MW2 still plays flawlessly. I think it has to do with theater or elite stat tracking. Macabi tested blops and found it sent alot more data than older COD titles. Im afraid we are stuck with this issue becuase elite isnt going away anytime soon. Im giving treyarch another chance becuase david vonderhaar has won me over with his twitter comments I cant wait to see what he is working on.

    Re: This is Lag Compensation

Capp - great video. This is exactly what happens to me. Seems like it's getting worse too. My friends and I used to play for a 3 hours a night, now it's maybe 1 hour or so every other night. It gets really annoying after a couple of matches of insta-death. You start to recognize skill has very little to do with game play and lose interest...
