Discussion About Motion Sensors For The Next COD Game

I've been looking at a number of threads about the next COD lately and one thing that has got me thinking is equipment and more importantly motion sensors and I was wondering what peoples opinion about them are. I personally think they are a bit cheap as well as a tad over powered especially when used in the right hands (I know I wouldn't be sitting on as many MOABs without one) not only that it tends to slow people down who use one as even I find myself staying near one when have placed one down to get easy kills and that's not my style of gameplay but you just cant help it and i know other people cant either heck some people cant move a couple of feet away from one and to top it all off it encourages more use of stealth perks which is not a good thing for the game as what used to be a fast paced action game COD4 is turning into a slow paced boring game with each installment.
I do think it is an issue and I was thinking of solutions that would benefit the next COD
1. Move the Motion Sensor & Scrambler to the support package as the lowest pointstreak maybe 2 - 3 Points to receive one which team members can get feedback from like MW3 and after hearing what Vahn has said by the looks of things they are making spy planes less frequent in the next COD so it could be a viable streak to use.
2. Remove the Motion Sensor from the game.
3. Make the radius very small so that its literally only useful for flags & bomb sites as an early warning sign or to cover the smallest of flank routes to you
4. It only lasts say 30 seconds from when you deploy it so you cant sit on it and basically have a UAV all game
5. Reduce the frequency of its scans so instead of every 1 - 2 seconds it would be every 7 seconds
6. A mixture of a few of these
7. Leave it how it is in Black Ops so you are the only person who can see it and not every team member like in MW3, personally i dont think this is a solution but I think at worst this would need to be done
What are your views on it and which one would you like to see in black Ops 2 or have you got another solution?
That's too harsh you motion sensor/portable radar hater. Tip: Quit complaining and use Assassin or Sitrep instead of crying about it online, as if anyone cares about your opinions. You're just trying to disquise the fact that you get killed by users of this equipment too often because you're bad.
Not in the slightest because i use assassin on every class i have except two which are specialist classes and i unlock assassin after 1 kill because of things like motion sensors and heartbeat sensors. Its hardly a solution to strap on a perk that leads to slower gameplay heck you couldn't play SnD on Black Ops without Hacker Pro on because of these cheap motion sensors that poor people need to get kills or good players use to get easy kills.
I actually would like to see the game improve and remove or balance cheap stuff like this. What ever happened to using skill, Map Knowledge to finding an opponent instead of needing them to be handed to you on a plate with a motion sensor.
I also wouldn't say i was a hater about the motion sensor i just think spawning practically with a UAV every life is wrong and a bit of rebalencing so it not so over powered and cheap is needed.
If 25-50% of players in every match did not use Assassin then I would agree,
There always a counter to it. I used my tokens and now have 10 classes to make up. I always have classes that can adapt to almost any situation.
they should remove the motion sensor but the way it looks in the call of duty series they might add a new thing called tactical binaculars which let you see through walls. they need to have more run and gun friendly things instead of more camp friendly things.
Remove the motion sensor in my opinion.
K.I.S.S - Keep it Simple Stupid
COD was fun when the game was simple.
Motion Sensors, Jammers and all these equipment don't fit COD.
The maps are small & the inclusion of motion sensors don't encourage players to use sound & sight to locate your enemies.

I like & Agree with that statement
There always a counter though. Just put on deadly silence and assassin and there goes your sight and sound :-P. I think there fine and don't use them. If ya know there a camper go out and kill him often.
I don't want run Assassin all the time just because some scrub uses a motion sensor. The same goes for UAV's because some player is spamming UAV's at me all the time
I like to use a different variety of perks & not having to rely on Assassin all the time.
I know there's a counter but does that mean I have to rely on using one perk in all my games?
Remove motion sensor, HBS, Scrambler, and any other equipment that encourages people to stare at a radar.
We need more games that require thinking, senses, and common sense. Spoonfeeding in a game, once praised for requiring a brain to do good in, is pathetic.
The only spoonfeeding you need is a killcam.

Since you didn't get it, this broken forum is so broken that sometimes it will not show the picture you posted.
Look at your previous post.
Get rid of them, well they are powerful in MW3, but easily countered, but in Black ops, I think Ghost non pro would have been the right counter, not hacker pro.
The counter for them needs to be easy, and in the non pro form.
But yea, why encourage camping.
