I call B.S.

There is no way that some random person can trace a connection through Xbox and get a physical address.  I can almost guarantee that this kid either gave his address or it was an acquaintance that placed the call.

Hell....  I wish I COULD trace an IP like that.  I would love to show up at some of these little kids house and see if they talk to a full grown man standing face to face with them the way they talk in the lobby.  A guarantee they would sing a different tune.

He's a quick scoper.  I can see someone getting pissed about that.  Or maybe he was just jealous of his haircut.
