Infection, choosing a custom class

I love infection, I mean I love it to death, but I think it would be cool, if you could choose your own survivor class to survive with, maybe no LMGs though. I don't know I just think it is a really good idea.
It would have some issues, they would have to remove some of things or it would make it even easier to boost on some maps.
Imagine all survivors will ACR's/95's and dual FMG's with scavenger and quick draw and stalker, using betties and claymores for defense and having semtex and stuns. it would be very hard for the infected to ever get close and make a kill even if they all came as one giant mass horde.
I could understand restricting some things, its just the Barret 50cal, Dual FM49s, and dual 44's, and PP90M1 get boring.
I think they keep it to certain guns to make sure its not just a boost fest for both kills and weapon exp.
I leveled up the pp90m1 several times in just one match of infected on dome. Just stood there at the entrance to the bunker and mowed down 1-2-3-4 infected at a time with it, got ammo, reloaded rinse repeat.
But I do agree they do need a bit more variety in weapons.
I guess, they could add, the ability to vote on a weapon set...?
Would be a good thing, but I fear too many would try to vote the survivors wiht the OP/Easy weapons making it even harder and less fun for the infected. Which would lead to even more backing out and rejoining all the time.
Its less fun now with Throwing Knives.
for the survivors yes, but those were added to help reduce boosting by splitsceeners where they let the one get infected. the non goes to a building or area with only one way in, the infecte crouches or lays down blocking off that area.. and then the survivor is free to boost for a moab and a cheap win.
