My day in "Infected"

I have the Striker at level 30, nearly level 31. I have yet to use it outside of Infected.
I have dropped 4 MOABs
Maxed out my .44 Magnums, and am 1 attachment away from maxing out my USP and Five-Sevens
Completed the "Drop 5 MOABs" challenge (obtained one legit outside of Infected)
Completed Challenges such as All Pro, Collateral Damage, Survivor, Omnicide, and many more
Have went up nearly 15 ranks
Increased my KDR from 1.48 to 1.51
Got a new "highest killsreak" record
Does Infinityward really believe removing Throwing Knives from the infected was a good move? I mean honestly, this is borderline boosting, except it's legitimized and much easier.
I am willing to bet, if Activision hired us "mature" forum users to create the multipalyer, we'd have a near perfect Call of Duty. But that would make too much sense i suppose, so it'll never happen.

I really wish they would do something like that. Most of us would probably do it for free, and just the experience alone. There are so many decisions and things that they do wrong, that the normal players pick up on within the first week, and many times (such as in this case), can see coming before the idea is even implemented.
I just honestly wonder if the people who design and develop the game are actually gamers, or just people who were hired for their talent in programming. Balance obviously will be trial and error until it's gotten right, but there are some glaringly obvious things that can and should be done balance-wise.. I'm just amazed they don't do it.
This is the first match I get into. No throwing knives for infected? Seriously? Thank GOD they're fixing it though.

says who? just curious
When that happens, I don't even try to get the Non-infected, I simply go off somewhere on the map and work on my Extreme Conditioning Pro challenges until the match ends, simply because it's near impossible to take everyone out up there without seeing a MOAB or two dropping first. I've been equally guilty sitting up there getting them.. but there's not much choice because everyone else stays up there, so you have no one down below with you helping against all the infected.
For real, they remove throwing knives but leave in MOABs? IW has some real geniuses working for them.

Adding new class load outs to Infected again tonight when Drop Zone is uploaded. 3 Throwing Class modes and 3 Tactical Knife modes.

Glad they heard the outcries about it. The people dropping the MOABs and those getting massacred alike are all saying it was unfair. It's just too bad they somehow didn't see this coming before the change was made..

exactly.... i spend my entire time talking trash to my own team while being completely untouchable unless they rush me with more then 7 people... its not fair for them, they arent bots..
im good enough at it to survive til the end without camping a cheap spot.... and i still want the throwing knife back.... makes it more fun as a survivor and also makes it REALLY fun to be infected..
glad they put it back... they tried to fix the issues that made it nessessary, i get that... but once they realized they couldnt possibly fix every spot, they brought them back..
because it happened very fast... i actually give IW some credit for this one.. trial and error, its all they can do..
I agree with throwing knifes being removed in a way. it is fun when your running around and have a 8 people chasing you turn around drop 5 guys take off again. and turn drop 5 more. You could not do this without throwing knifes because no matter what someone will get a lucky knife throw. Now I do agree it is way to easy to camp everyone starts out with ubber guns and scav.
Personally I can merk with throwing knifes myself. I have taken out whole teams in little of no time with them. Jut makes it to easy as a infected person.
I already through this out in a post but I think a gungame style of leveling up to better guns would add more fun to it. make it easy for the infected to kill at first then as it goes on and less people are non infected they start getting bettter guns and more perks. To me it is the best cure. It allows people to infect mass amount of others quicker in the game but in the end if you make it to be one of the last few survivors you get the excitement of having a awesome gun to spray down the hoards of people casing you. as they pray on there masses to over come the last few.
Here is the link to my thread I made on it. Personally I think this would keep it a fast pace game. http://community.callofduty.com/thread/200397346
