@BEACHHEAD - I have appreciated your interaction with the fans over the past number of weeks.  You have been a good resource to bounce ideas off of and to get a notion of what the Eltie developers are thinking.

Unfortunately, I see one area where Clan Ops will ultimately come up short.  Your enforcement crew has been woefully weak on identifying and punishing those that cheat in the lone wolf events and I see this spreading into the Clan Ops as well.  I truly believe BEACHHEAD needs to come out with a policy that basically says, if one guys get's caught cheating, the entire clan is disqualified.

    Re: Clan Operations Preview

are you serious?! how is that not fair? taking the top 6 players from each clan that are competing in an operation is as fair as you get.

if you think thats not fair, its probably because you, and everybody in your clan blows lol. maybe you should get better people to join your clan, otherwise just be quiet

i have 13 other people in my clan We Go HAM... aside from a few i invited because they're friends, they all **** kids. if we play in a clan operation, and i'm not one of the top 6... then i am not worried at all.

and for your information, if they do it your way, it would be really unfair -_-

ex. 9 people from your clan play in an operation where its the most kills in team deathmatch... 6 players ****, but 3 players blow chunks. but because you say its unfair to use the top six players, the bottom 3 who sucked get chosen instead... and because of that, you lose. tell me how "fair" that is....

im considering replying but worried your obvious lack of maturity and intelligence would hamper any reply i might make.. but here goes.

if you have a clan of 100 people all competing thats 100 chances

if you have a clan of 13 people all competing thats 13 chances

but i wouldnt worry your pretty little head judging by your reply im assuming your gt and your clan  all have itzz and lots of zzzz's and numbers in them so i doubt a buncha prepubescent wanna be l33t quikscopers are gonna win anyways

    Re: Clan Operations Preview

I agree.  My solution is slightly more radical in terms of change but I think it would even everything out.

I believe that each clan should only be allowed to have 6 to maybe 9 players as a part of it.

    Why?

-It would make clans more competitive (Inside and outside of the clan)

-Competitions wouldn't be lottery like. As in who ever has the most players has more chances to win.

-It would come down to team work and skill (after boosters are dealt with)

    Re: Clan Operations Preview

Beachhead there are some players in a clan that are good at different game modes and some that are not so good. so as a a clan leader Is there a way that i can select which players will get to play in a particular operation instead of everyone in the clan playing in an operation?

Also is it possible to make changes to the names that i have selected even after the operation has started?

Also i am guessing that you have to be 18 years old or older to play in clan operations. Are people under the age of 18 allow to play in clan operations with other people in their same clan who are 18 and over.?

If a clan wins but they have players who are under and over 18 years old, then does all the players who are 18 years old and over still get to keep their prize?

Also is clan operation going to be the same timing for everyone around the world because like majority of clans, we all have players in our clan from all around the world. It cannot be be like lone wolf operations.

They are suppose to take the top six members of each clan. That way it is fair for all clan sizes. So... The top 6 people in your clan with the most kills for team deathmatch will be counted against the top six of the other clans competing in the the same operation.

how is that fair for all clan sizes?

even taking the top 6 of the clan, a large clan will have more players to compete.

The only possible way it could ever be "fair" is if they took a random 6 people or top 3 bottom 3

Neither is the best option, IMO.

A formula of some kind that takes into account total games played, total points scored (kills, caps, etc.), total number of players in clan participating, and a few other stats I can't think of off the top of my head.

Rank the results across each category and wieight the imprtance to the overall result.

This way big vs. small clans is moot.

    Re: Clan Operations Preview

you people need to stop repeating yourself. At cod xp Beachhead said that in clan operations the winner will be decided by a total average score. so it will make no difference if you have 3 or 100 clan members.

    formula e.g.

Clan member operation total score [divided by] The amount of total clan members in the operation = leaderboard score and leaderboard ranking.

    Clan operation: Team Deathmatch

Clan member operation total score: 500

The amount of total clan members in the operation: 20

    500 / 20 = 25

leaderboard score and leaderboard ranking = 25
