Clan Operations Preview

Please note: The below screenshots are taken from in-progress tests that we're running on actual Ops in the Test instances of ELITE.

 

As we continue testing for Clan Operations, we'd like to share a preview of the Clan Operations experience so you can hit the ground running with your clan when the feature launches.  We're currently putting all Clan Operations through extensive testing and while we can't give you a date on when it will be ready, it is getting closer every day.

 

Enlisting in a Clan Operation

 

To Enlist in a Clan Operation, Clan Leaders will visit the Compete section and select a Clan Operation from the new Clan Operations section.

Clan Operation Details Page

 

On the Clan Operation details page, members can view:

 

  • The amount of Clan XP that they can earn by participating
  • Their Clan's enlistment status in the currently viewed Clan Operation
  • Start date and time
  • End date and time

 

Clan Leaders will be able to enlist their Clan in the Clan Operation by selecting the enlistment status which will change to "Enlisted."  After a Clan Leader has enlisted in a Clan Operation, the enlistment status will be reflected for all Clan members.

Further down on the Clan Operation details page, members can also see the prizes, badges, scoring and winning criteria prior to the beginning of a Clan Operation.

Following the completion of a Clan Operation and winner verification, the Champion Clan will be displayed on the Winners' Podium.

Below the Winners' Podium, you can see how your Clan performed in the Your Clan's Performance section.

Underneath Your Clan's Performance, you can view the overall Clan Operation Leaderboard.

Clan Showcase

 

If your Clan performed well enough in a Clan Operation to earn a badge, your prizing will be displayed in your Clan Showcase on your ELITE Clan page below your Clan Feed.

    @ Beachhead, what exactly is closer every day?  Most of my "CLAN" has moved on to other games because they see no reason to play MW3 any longer.  A bunch of em are 8th and 9th prestige.  What is the purpose of playing as a clan if we hit 10 before this gets going?  What may be close to you, isn't close to us.  By the way, if your  definition of "soon" is anything like Robert Bowlings when he said on Jan 25th that the DLC for Elite members of the PS3 was coming soon (Which was 5 weeks later), I'll be expecting Clan Ops about the time Black Ops 3 DLC comes out next year.  Your company has lost all respect of the COD community.  If you don't believe what I said here, go join any lobby on Xbox or the PS3 and ask about Clan Ops and Beachhead.  It should be interesting to see what you hear from your customers.....just sayin.

    @ondsnap     DLC comes first to XBOX 360 until the end of 2012.. its a contract between activision and microsoft.. if sony wants DLC first then they should show some love..  its  a know contract for a few years now.. nothing new..

     

     

    @Beachead  please take seriously into consideration of the following

     

    My clan called TORC of MW3 is a HARDCORE DOMINATION CLAN.. I certainly hope that clan ops can provide us with game modes and challenges that we as a clan enjoy playing..  we can not stand and refuse to play team deathmatch and other game modes that are not in hardcore..

     

     

    Also, please comment and post to the following question

    1. Hardcore mode players get no love. why is it that elite is also biased on the game modes that players play..  In my opinion if you are running a CORE domination wicked dominator competition, the hardcore mode players should also get to compete in the same event in Hardcore mode.. its in the game, and that what we like to play..

     

    it seems and correct me if im wrong here. it seems as if Premium members, founders etc are forced to play in modes they dont like and or are not good at.. that is not equal to all gamers. 

     

    also, ELITE Playlists..  There is only 3 game modes in Elite playlists in Hardcore mode. this maybe an issue for the developers, however ill ask anyway, Hardcore mode players want hardcore mode games. and we want to be able to play the matches and new DLC maps in the modes we like..  it seems that hardcore mode players are just a blip on a map, not cared about and represent just a number..

     

    im gonna be brutaly honest here.  So far, i love ELITE, and all the features it promises.. however, it is very unlikely i will purchase elite again in the future just because its not living up to what i was sold on.   

    - i am premium/founder yet i play hardcore domination. i get DLC each month, but i cant play it in game modes that i play..  so why should i purchase elite again.

     

    2 main reasons i purchased elite was for CLAN OPS, and for DLC free each month. now then, so far clan ops is just coming soon, and now the dlc maps are put in a private playlist which is great, but its limited to hardcore mode players. we are forced to play game modes we cant stand in order to play on the new maps..

     

    im sorry this is so long here, but im not happy, and i think i deserver some answers. i respect the effort you guys at beachead are putting into the game and product, but you must see the reasons why many of us are so unhappy..

    Many of us have been members since day one. Since November 8th of 2011 and Clan Ops is still non fuctional. Are we going to recieve an extention to our accounts?

     

    This is not worth $50.

    well if clan events are as good as lone wolf events well imight just put my mw3 in the microwave

    i should sue devolpers for false advertisment promising me clan events when theres obviously not >:(

    so basicly clan ops are the exact same thing as lone wolf ops ??

     

    its a good idea but i think MOST of the community would like to see us bieing able to go Clan vs Clan
