Dumb idea, you won't win, you want IW to learn don't play this game and don't buy the next one.  Especially since most of the kids that play this game aren't old enough anyway.

They don't need to support online MP at all. Eventually the servers will be turned off and the option will not exist sans the PC.

So theoretically they could very well turn off the servers tomorrow and we'd have no say in the matter.

Hypothetically, if Activision and all of their subsidiaries went bankrupt all at once tomorrow, they could no longer support the servers and they'd be shut off without warning.

The developers can alter the online portion of the game at will, without warning or explanation. The only multiplayer they can be held accountable for is the offline multiplayer. Which works wonderfully, regardless of whether or not you like the current generations additions.
