How is the killstreak in leaderboards calculated?

Hey guys, first of all, I've never had a public MOAB before. I have had like 7 20+ killstreaks though. Today was one of these days, I think i had a killstreak of like 22 when the game ended. Strange thing is, after this game the streak under kills in the leaderboards says 30, while I'm sure I've never had a 30 killstreak before. Is this a bug or is the killstreak calculated in a different, weird way?
Only gun/knife/equipment is considered....I have a 37-0 game +MOAB but only shows 26 on my xXR_a_M_b_O3Xx account, 23 on this one + many 17-23 in a row streaks.
You should read better.
I'd love to know this too.
A few days ago I had a game on Arkaden where I went 27 - 1 using the Care Package, Predator and Cobra. I called in my cobra three times but got double kills with two of my predators and a single with my third. As well as my cobras getting me a few kills each. One of my care packages gave me a sentry gun which got me two kills the other two CPs were a uav and IMS.
Predator: 5 Kills
Cobras: 6 Kills
Sentry: 2 Kills
Total: 13
At the end of that game my killstreak was 20.
27-13=14 not 20
Hmm yea, well, my former highest killstreak on leaderboards was 24, which should mean that I should also have had a MOAB with specialist strike package right? Very weird.
I did a 53 kills flawless game with assault strike package and didn't get a Moab. Looked at elite and my gun streak was 32 that game. So it must be bugged or a glitch
