The problem is that sniper rifles have no place in this game(same thing with LMG's)  they are not suited to the small maps and, if they behaved like any normal sniper rifle, would be completely useless. IW had to put sniper rifles in to balance the gun types, but they wouldnt work as normal sniper rifles, so they had to buff them.  And buff they did.

This is why the reticle settles instantly upon scoping, the Barrett .50cal has no fire cap, most of the high powered sniper rifles are semi-auto(to my understanding there is only 1 bolt action sniper in the game) and (not sure about this) the bullets have large hitboxes to make them more accurate.

So if you want sniper rifles, you will have quickscopers.  If you do not want quickscopers, then say bye-bye to sniper rifles.

Really dont understand what the problem is with quickscoping. Takes alot of skill to be a successful sniper / quickscoper.

So what are you saying? Is it harder to use machineguns now or?
