    Ya i wouldnt spend the money unless you new it was what you wanted! It's not worth it to throw money away if it's not exactly what you want

    You may want to check out TBs site when you go to buy. They often have better deals than most stores, and if you can grab a set from their factory refurb I would reccomend it. Great deals and comes looking brand new, I believe you get a warranty also.

    I used Astros at XP. I can't attest to the quality but they were very light and comfortable. I own the Tritton 720's and while the sound is pretty good they are heavier and I get headset fatigue quickly. I only went with them over the Astros because Astros aren't available in stores and I'm impatient.

     

    One problem I have with the Trittons however is the microphone, I can't hear myself talking which isn't the worst thing in game but I know that my room mates think I'm going crazy.

    Since you brought up the mic I have a question for you! Has/does your mic ever stop working on those? My friend has that headset and his mic just randomly quit working at all and they were only a month old

    I've had my tritton 720s for about a year now and the mic still works fine.  There is a little cord that connects the mic to the controller so if it does mess up all you need to do is get another one of those cords.  You can get them from any electronic store or directly from Tritton.

    Don't get me wrong... it sounds like an awesome headset and the full-wireless capabilities would be nice but for something I'm just going to be using in my leisurely time I think I can make do with something cheaper.
