No one answers questions on the Elite Forum, so I figure I should as here in hopes of an answer. Someone made a post asking what will be affected on their elite account since they changed their gamer tag? I have the same question, when you change your gamertag, it doesn't show up as your new gamer tag. My next question is, how will Elite users be getting the maps? Will they be sending out a code to your E-Mail? Thanks to anyone who answers.
The gamertag issue I'm not postive about so sorry there! And with the other part I'm in the same boat as you man. I asked around and nobody has any details on it yet
Nah, this hasn't happened to me, yet. I will be changing my gamertag soon, but I am afraid of what will happen. Hopefully activision, or beachhead will let us know.
The ELITE subscription is linked to the XBL account not the actual name so it will be fine. As for DLC, I assume that it will be available for free through the in-game store for Premium ELITE members. This is the way it worked for the last DLC on Black Ops so I would assume its the same
there will more than likely be an update and a prompt as soon as you finish the update and get to the mw3 main menue. the prompt will more than likely ask you if you if you want to download the content. simaler to how halo works except you won't need to pay for it
