Some friendly advice.

DO NOT use the MP5. OMG i just suffered through 500 kills with that to get a bunch of points to help lvl up. I am planning on never ever using this crap gun again. WOW its was frustrating.

  MP5 is too inconsistent. Its not that the kick is unbearable, it actually is quite fine, the problem comes with killing people that are more than 20 feet away, even with range the gun gives way too many hit markers. Why use it when you have other great smg's like the P90 that is good all round and can even act like an assualt rifle on the right map?

    Thats true, although noticed that once you level the MP5 to level 20, it gets strong. I've get it gold twice, and idk if the gun is just inconsistent like you said. But it seems to me it gets stronger.

It's an inferior pp90 with better range though. It's still an "ok" gun with range and a silencer.

  LOL MP7. Yeah its a good gun but my fav smg has always been the P90. MP5 is just not good.

The MP5 isn't great, but its not bad. I've used it the past two prestiges, and once you have the right perks and proficiency its a good gun. For the proficiency i use range, and it helps alot, just have to use it enough to get use to it. But best Sub in the game is the PP90

I preffered the MP5K from MW2 anyways. I was hoping this MP5 would become one of my favorites but nope.

I have 2500+ kills with the gun and reached Autumn with it 4 times and Gold once. I got my 500+ kills title on my road to first prestige.

I beg to differ.

Though, it is inferior to other SMGs.

  Congrats. Seriously. That would be a chore for me. But im sure ill eventually want to get the 2500 kills with it for the title. There are times like omg this gun is beast. Other games its like shooting skittles. But for the most part Id advise ppl to stick with the P90 PP and the MP7 for smg's.

    Those three you mentioned are the better of the SMGs. The rest suffer in some category horribly where others prevail.
    
    I don't like the MP7 and PP90 as much since they are not that good to me.

      platinumb I agree about the pp90 for myself. I cant do anything with it. I spray ppl down alot and I just use that clip so fast. the minute I run into multiple enemies Im in trouble with it. (I run into spawn alot) But I know everyone I play with swears by that gun. MP7, P90 are my favs. I hate ump in this game. Also have been using the PM9 and have to say i like it thus far.

I can't belive no-one commented on the UMP45. This gun is Boss. Easily the best SMG.

  I actually like the UMP45 better in Mw2, its a good gun. But not as good, and i like how no ones commented about the PM-9, that gun sucks bad, more of a secondary to me.

I think I have like 15 total kills with the gun because it just flat out sucks compared to the other SMGs. I think it would have been good in BO or MW2, but it just doesn't compare to the UMP, MP7 or PP90 in this game
