I haven't played MW3 in weeks, simply because it is no fun. Never thought I would ever get bored of a Call of Duty title so quickly. Usually takes me around six months, heh. But seriously, what happened? And what's next? I know there's a lot of people claiming this game to be a $60 map pack, which I can understand, but what will the next title be??
I watched that "Roll Call" video on Elite with Robert Bowling, and he talked about all the "fantastic feedback from the community," and all I could do was roll my eyes. Who does he think he's trying to kid here? What positive feedback? From what community? His bank?
Also, Elite premium members on 360 getting their content a month before premium PS3 members is stupid, lol. Everything about Call of Duty has become so.. eh. WHAT'S THE POINT?!
I'm a rather greedy person myself. But they take it too far when it comes to maximizing profits.
And the lack of support for anything new that comes out like simulview is pathetic. The only reason they can compete with other games that try much harder is because of the name on the box.
Also, if anybody has yet to try Battlefield 3 (not the beta), I think you'll really find this to be a great alternative to Modern Warfare 3. Now, I hate running for miles to get to the action like the next person, which is why I choose to play Squad Deathmatch instead of Rush (which was featured in the beta).
Squad Deathmatch = Four 4-man squads, one vehicle, and a perfectly sized map. Since it's just you and your squadmates trying to gain the most kills, the game feels more personal and scary-realistic!
Plus, BF3 releases new weapons within their DLC, like the FAMAS. My point is, if you're fed up with Call of Duty's BS, Battlefield 3 is the right game for you. And don't for one second think Battlefield 3 is anything like the Bad Company series (those were awful).
I hate BF3 fan boys
. Believe me, i have played them both. Finished both campaigns in maximum diffuculty. MW3 campaign is by far way more EPIC than bf3. BF3 campaign was horrible in my opinion. And survival/spec ops kicks BF3 co-op butt. Now dont go flaming and hating. But, i'll have to admit, in the battlefield multiplayer, you'll see less lagg. But more rage. All I can say is: Go back to battlefield.
I don't give two ***** about either campaign, or any co-op modes.. You see less lag (almost no lag) because unlike Activision, EA has dedicated servers. And maybe, Modern Warfare 3 has driven me to the point where I prefer Battlefield 3 instead. But, that's only because, IT'S A BETTER GAME.
As for "more rage," I don't know what you're talking about. It sounds like you play every mode on MW3 but the actual multiplayer (where all the rage in the world originates).
CALMJOFACEDOWN.
We all spawn, get in a tank. Free kills.
Mortars. Enough said.
Full auto shotgun grenade launchers.... RLLY?
And i dont give a **** about campaign..why?
Cuz BF3 campaign is SAD
Co-op is replaying campaign with more than one player.
Now b4 u reply, take a deep breath and... read the first part again.
Somehow, all of that, still doesn't sound as bad as MW3. Although, a lot of that is kind of news to me, since I prefer smaller/fast-paced games on BF3 (tdm, squad tdm), so "we all get in a tank" doesn't really happen as much as you make it seem, same with mortars and.. full-auto shotgun grenade launchers? Those exist in BF3? More news to me.
Campaigns on either games are sad, as well as the co-op missions, because they're all the same as every other war game.. I don't even care enough to get into this topic, so let's just reach the invisible checkpoint line, and move on.
JUST SAYING... MW3 campaign SAD????
Honestly, go play battlefield. And have "fun"
And i hoped you enjoyed the "news."
