Yep I've had this a ton of times.  I've posted about it several.  It's horrible and it's absolutely amazing that it's still happening after 7-8 patches.  I know now when it's coming on so I can whip my headphones off quickly, but the first couple of times my ears were ringing for 2 days (laterally) after it happened.  People are experiencing blown speakers and headphones.  I'm worried about my ears and my Trittons. 

Again, absolutely AMAZING this hasn't been fixed yet...

Developers, please acknowledge this!

I would be hard to do that because one would have to prove that the audio emp is what caused them to blow.

I thought the Trittons were screwed up. It was just MW3 - I should have known.

I have had this happen to me before as well and I freaked out cuz i thought my new surround sound was shorting out...but then it just went away and all was fine.  this has happened to me about 3 times and for me it will last for what seems like 5-10 seconds.  The fact that people have actually had thier equipment get blown out scares me a bit.  ill probably keep the remote next to me at all times so once it starts ill hit the mute real quick so it doesn't mess up my speakers

At first i was the same way thinking i was the only one that ran into this issue back in MW2, seen it again in Blk Ops on a few diffrent PS3s which finally shown me that it wasnt a hardware failure.
