Please Stop the Clan Spamming!

So I have read some comments around here from people complaining they were banned from Elite for spamming clan invites.  Not only do I support BH in their efforts here, I am going as far to help them out by reporting each and every one of these messages I find in the either the Operations or Events.  They are ANNOYING and some of these clans are doing nothing more then inviting founders to steal their XP and then kick them out of the clan.

 

One of my buddies sent me a message about a post he put on the Event board for the Bouncing Betty challenge.  It had a screen shot of him killing me and a couple of other guys when he jumped into one of our games.  Funny stuff (great friend).  Yeah, four pages back I finally found it.  Between that and the top of the message board were 9 legit posts, the rest was what is now affectionitly known as "Clan Spam"

 

Please utilize the forum specifically set up for clan recruiting.  In addition, feel free to post on your own clan's message boards or on the various Group message boards, but as far as Operations or Event message boards, please keep them clean so the actual participants of those challenges can discuss topics amongst themselves.

    It's funny you should bring this up I to have to agree, the constant Clan Spamming is riduculous especially in the comments section of the events, I'm friggin done recruiting, I'm tired of getting spammed for clan invites myself, they need to come to my clan board and speam the people there trying to get invited to my clan, even when I put up a message saying we are no longer inviting.

     

    But I'm like you, I hate seeing the events comment section plagued with clan spam

      Yeah, the kids looking for clans are just as bad as the clans adertising to all the kids.  I just really hope that BH keeps monitoring these message boards.  I also wonder if they can actually delete comments, so they can be cleaned up.

       

      At some point the clans need to start being punished.  If they get X amount of warnings about this type of advertising, they will be disbanned and any and all Clan Xp will be lost.  I know it's harsh, but tough love is the only way to teach some of these guys.

        THe only reason they spam is to hopefully snag a stupid kid to give away his 500xp to the clan.

         

        It makes me mad/makes me happy at the same time.

         

        It makes me mad because my clan is almost 10 years old. It dates back a loooong time ago. I for one am a 4 year member. We have had a website up for 5-6 years and we are now currently upgrading. It's sad that 97% of all clans in elite will be a bunch of randoms trying to get as many people lumped together to get as many awards as possible knowing only 3% will actually play together as a group. While we as a clan have to really work together as a 17 clan team to earn our rewards.

         

        It makes me happy knowing that once the Clan Operation are up and running, it will be a feeding frenzy for our clan since most clans will be random kids that slapped something together to say they have a clan and get double xp. Clan on Clan will be no challenge.

         

        If you would like to see a real clan you can check us out at suicide-kings.net. You can register if you want, I'm just stating our site because I'm proud of what we have going.

         

        Keep in mind our site is being upgraded so it's still in a "default theme" stage for the most part.
