Just filed my complaint with the BBB. It is a load of malarky that they are still giving us the run around after two months of the game being out...totally unacceptable. Did not purchase a "Work in Progress," but an "as advertised" FULLY FUNCTIONAL product.

I'm still pretty annoyed that I can't level up my clan. I'm even more annoyed that it sounds like you have to win the actual operation to get any xp. I thought you'd get xp just for playing. Or am I wrong?
I bought ELITE not only to make a clan and participate in competitions but to get the DLCs as well, so I guess it wasn't a total loss. I'll take two out of three.
Thank you, Beach Head for keeping me informed. I know how difficult your job must be and how disheartening with the constant complaints. I'll still remain loyal to the Call of Duty franchise despite this let down. I just hope they learn from it and not repeat it in the future.
So thanks, but pleeeeaase fix this soon.

So will this mean we'll get an extra month again if they don't get this clan thing fixed by next month? Just saying coz I too got the hardened edition especially for clan operations, 2 months going now and still not operating?

Well this is now getting beyond a joke! In the future I am NEVER going to buy a premium service from Activision, unless I know it's 100% fully functional. The lack of another update on the situation is ridiculous, I mean they should at the least have an official weekly, if not daily update on how the service is progressing, and also an ETA of when it will be competed.
Also, giving us an extra free month for a service that is still NOT fully functional, to me is worth absolutely NOTHING! I want either a refund for the last two months of service I've paid for and not received, or at the very least a BIG xp bonus.
Selling a product as you have advertised as giving us all these great premium features, and in reality us actually getting nothing more than every other free user is an absolute disgrace to us PAYING customers! Activision must have known from the very beginning that the service was no where near complete, but still were more than happy to take our money off us!
Activison, if you don't compensate us for your massive mistakes, us customers, and fans (Or should I say ex-fans) will never, and I mean NEVER, trust or buy a product from you again!!

This development team is a joke, pure and simple. A faulty product from the start, and the main thing about this piece of ****, doesn't even have an ETA on when it will be up.

I was just wondering if any of you have read the Better Business Bureau site. Activison posted on the site (case on 12-2-11) that they would replace a customer's copy of MW3 with an unopened copy of the game, so that the customer could return it to the place where it was purchased for a full refund. If that actually works and everyone follows through, that is a pretty good solution. I would be happy to return my whole game over this debacle. I know many of you would not. For those of you who feel utterly cheated, though, this might be a great solution...assuming you saved your receipt :).
I wish someone at customer support had mentioned a similar solution. After two weeks worth of emails, I literally just finished emailing customer support tonight to tell them I would be seeking assistance from the better business bureau. Five minutes later, I visited the site, and the above info was maybe 8 complaints down. It's turning out to be a good night.
Afterthough...this kind of sucks for the poor retailers that sold us this game. They get to refund our money, when it should be Activision. If any of you guys actually file a complaint, that's something else to think about.

Yeah I read that they wanted to replace it but for most of us, we dont have the reciepts so really its not a solution. I personally dont want the game and Elite refunded like that. If theyd compensate for the services we arent recieving until those services are up and functional, thatd be satisfactory. I mean you dont pay a cell phone company for services you dont recieve, no you pay for the service and you get it. People dont pay for xbox live or playstation plus and have to wait months for the service to be working, no it works right then. And if the instance happens when xbl or psn goes down, they compensate you for the time its down for your paid services. Any subscription based service works like that. So why is it Elite should be any different?

i read every post in this thread and all i got to say is after my elite subscription is done im taking my clan over to Battlefield.
my Team has been together fighting since Call Of Duty 3 . we been gettin love from the REAL infinity ward team (the creators of MW2 AKA the best game in history). shoot even Trayarch showed love. now i get this beachhead and activision taking 50$ for Promised BS (because thats really whats going on) that no1 is seeing. and instead of Updating on the Clan issue they update us on Irrelavent issues about Deweight howard beating some other guy an new york vs Boston.... WE DONT CARE FOR Noob fight or whatever its called.. Cancel the Noob fight thing and get the pple who work that to help get the clan issue fixed maybe they can help also.i dont expect a respone i just wish it would get read by some1 from either Beachhead of AV
