Poor Resolution in Elite TV Vids

Just a minor complaint, I've watched 3 or 4 of the videos in Elite TV and the resolution is awful, almost unwatchable. It's gotta be worse resolution than 240p in Youtube. Is there anything you can do about it? My guess is that you've lowered the resolution in order to lower the bandwith it takes up. If that is the case then I think it would be good to put the videos on youtube or something. Although, in that case you might be worried that the video will get out to people who are not paying for elite.
Oh well, there's problems everywhere.
Removed. Replied to wrong issue.

Wow you're hardcore. Christmas eve/christmas day and you're still browsing the forums addressing issues and and answering questions. I hope you get a holiday bonus.
Appreciate the info.
Not sure what he is refering to either but from what i understand he is talking about the Videos on ELITE TV like Friday Night Fights and Roll Call and others. I have watched all of teh FNF and they are in a horrible resoltion like in watching it on an old tube TV from the 80's. If the resolution could be improved that would be awsome would make watcing it much more enjoyable than it already is.
Whoa, sorry. So many folks are asking about PS3 SD videos but this thread is ELITE TV focused. My bad, I've deleted my original reply.
Sorry that resolution on FNF is bad for you -- we will investigate immediately. If others are having this problem as well we'd appreciate a quick reply. Trying to gauge how widespread.

The resolution is mostly an issue with the show FNF is the gameplay not so much the acctuall studio shots just the game play could use a resolution buff. but as always still love the shows can't wait for more. Roll call just has resolution issues all around lol.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely push for a resolution bump of the gameplay footage on FNF. For anyone experiencing lower resolution on the Elite TV, please post what browser you are viewing it in so we can better investigate the issue. Thanks again for your patience.
Happy Holidays,

I had this issue too.
Clicking on the video, loading it for a bit, and then refreshing the page worked for me, although an option to switch between resolutions would be nice. ![]()
It happens to me but like on you tube vids sometimes you get the loading wheel while a video is playing. I just pause the video on FNF wait about 5 minutes so it can render some footage ahead of where im at and it tends to go away.
My issue is with resolution and video qaultiy not buffering times or loading times the FNF video mostly on the gamplay side of FNF is grainy and low quality. I use Safari as im on a Mac and love my safari. Dont have an issue with loading or watching the video just the Quality of the resomlution is all.

We're trying to track down the source of this issue...
Can I get some more info from you?
Sorry for all the questions - we just can't reproduce your specific issue here yet, so I want to get as detailed info as I can.
Thanks for your patience...we're looking into it, but it has been pretty elusive so far.
It is not a problem but yes it does occur on all browsers.
I watch all the Elite Tv Programs. It only really occurs durring teh gameplay of FNF.
Yes it occuors on bothe wired and wireless.
I am in the US Region using English language
Its no so much grainy video is that the gameplay durring FNF is recorded and brodcast in SD and i feel that it could be so much better. The rest of the video is pretty clear but the gameplay can get a little low quality. Even my HD Computer monitor looks better when i play my PS3 on it.
As for the image i for some reason or another do not have permission to post pictures on here. all you have to do is watch the fotage and will see that even the team names get alittle blury from time to time and the game play apears to be low quality recodings.
Okay - I think I understand what you're saying:
The video resolution itself isn't low, but during the gameplay sections, it looks like it's been recorded / broadcast in a lower res than it runs in the game. Is that basically correct?
We'll look at this on our side - I'm checking the original source video to make sure we're using the highest res possible for the source video. I'll also look at what's happening when it gets to the web player itself.
Thanks for the additional info.
