Call your shot... what will be the weapon of whine on 11/09?

Without fail... some weapon will be ceaslessly whined about on these forums after the MW3 hits shelves 11/08/11...

COD4 had the M16

WaW the MP40

MW2 the UMP

Black Ops... seemingly everything.

So, what weapon will the whiners... excuse me... "vocal detractors"... be grousing about after launch?

You know.. like the next day.

I'm calling the SCAR-L... aka...

SCRUB-L

So, call your shot and give it a fun name (the forum does have a CoC after all)...

It wont take long for all the children to start complaining about whatever weapon a good player uses to dominate them with. They wont stop and think about the fact that rushing around with a bolt action sniper is probably not the best strategy.

it's hard to say until i play the game, but im going to round it down to one of the assault rifles. i think i might go with the FAD also because you don't unlock it until around level 80. and remember the AK47 from MW2 was unlocked at level 70 and was COMPLETELY OP(over powered)

also don't forget about the weapon proficiencies. having those on a gun will make it better and easier to use. so if you're using a proficiency that will make your gun have less kick/recoil, you will be able to accurately hit the person using the "weapon of whine" and you will never have to worry about it

I agree. The SCAR will probably be first because of familiarity from prev titles. Give it 2 months and a new whine gun will take the crown. Much like the famas and galil now in blops. It won't even necessarily be the most powerful gun. Jut the one people die from the most due to highest usage.

No. I'm not joking. The AK in MW2 was very overpowered, even in it's core form. It was much worse with Stopping Power and FMJ
