Yeah, but that's why it should be optional, doesn't hurt anyone that way.

What I meant is the Microsoft offers the user the ability to install any game to their HDD.  Sony leaves it up to the devs which therefore means it's not always an option for the end user.

Full game installs would indeed be Sony's responsibility - partial installs aren't. Since we were assured parity and that our feedback would be taken into account, it's down to IW/SHG to come up with a feasible solution or at least clarify the situation - not the ducking and diving we're presently getting on Twitter.

back when that featured got introduced fro the 360 it helped the system because it gave it less info to decompress from the disk due to the lack of memory capability of a DVD with blue ray and ps3 We dont have that problem because the developers dont have to compress tons of files. thats the man reason why we ps3 owners dont have/need that option.

Don't forget SSD drives, flash memory and no moving parts. They are faster, genearte a lot less heat, and last a lot longer. The drive would outlive the PS3 I bet.
