MW3 scoreboards - The death of objective stats?

It may have been because MW3 was in beta, but when I played Domination, why did they remove captures and defends from the scoreboard? I was thrilled knowing how many objecitve pursuits I could get in objective games (In Black Ops), but this removal will end up causing more people to farm kill now.
Granted now I can be rewarded without fear of death via support strike package, but that doesn't make things any better.

They will be in the game. (opinion) Especially with the introduction of point streaks. That info is necessary info.
I wanna bump this, because this is important to me, I usually play Domination or Demolition and I think they could add those to the scoreboard.
yeah is probabli the beta thing, i hope they make it like BO, its something that they do the rigth way, i mean in MW2 were asist in a FFA, seriusly,,, headshot scores are better in BO
I'm hoping it is just a beta thing. It would be ridiculous if they removed this information altogether.
I was a bit suprised as well when there was no mention of Caps, Defends in Domination for MW3.
In Black Ops, it defined the players playing the objective vs. players who play it like TDM but still end up getting a higher score.
At least objective players are getting rewarded for playing the objective this time ![]()

This would be near gamebreaking for me if it was an actual feature of the retail version.
I'm of the opinion that K/D shouldn't even be displayed or calculated in objective game types, to cut down on killwhores. If they actually go in the diametric OPPOSITE direction of that, I can just imagine how killwhorey Domination will be in this game... ugh.

That's what I've been saying for the longest time. Kills and Deaths should never be shown in objective games (except S&D), because it distracts gamers from the actual goal of the match.
If they replace kills and deaths, and add more objective based stats, like offensive medals, and time spent securing/planting/defusing, then that'll promote more objective play--for bragging rights.
Sure kills can help in terms of suppressing the enemy, but that is what kills should only be limited to. People take it too far, by sacrificing teamwork, for self preservation. If their actions caused the team to lose, they won't care--as long as they have a higher K/D.
However, if you remove total K/D ratio (from all gametypes), people would gladly play objective games for the objective, because nothing is harming them, by going negative K/D-wise. Keep K/D ratio stats in gametypes where it matters; TDM, FFA, Kill Confirmed, and S&D.

I think that with the integration of Elite in-game, that we will be able to see alot more in the leaderboards, we don't really know what the leaderboards will be like tbh.
