Whats misleading about this ?

If you are reading anything more into those statements right there then they are not misleading you. You would just be assuming. Just because someone else here may have mentioned 20 peices may include images and avatar items doesnt mean it was true.

Also guys remember...

When all the DLC IS released subtract the total cost of what it would normally cost you to buy the DLC by itself.

For example (estimating) IF it is sold as a monthly pack of DLC

9 months at 400 points for each "monthly set"  equals 3600 points.

It costs you 50 dollars for a 4000 points card.

So that leaves 400 points or 5 dollars.

Now those estimates are low and imagine if EACH item will cost you a different price.

So you are paying 5 dollars a month for Elite.

Now in either way you put it.

You are paying 4 dollars a month for Elite and getting DLC for FREE.

OR

You are paying for the DLC and getting Elite for "almost free"

Dont you think you are coming out ahead ?

Even if the DLC was garbage and only worth 25 bucks you still wind up paying an extra 2 dollars a month for Elite.

Its like paying for a DVD with free online access that doesnt work. You still knew the DVD came with it and at least you got the DVD.

And if you really want to mince words....

Do you remember that part that said "no refunds" and "Activision reserves the right to modify or end online features" and the part that said there are "no guarantess to the accessability of oniline features".

I can understand if you bought a "gaurantee" to have a perfectly working vacuum cleaner with a lifetime warrantee that broke when you opened the box it came in. Then you find the company lied. And they closed down.

But this is not the case here they didnt lie and they said they are working on it. As for the App they DID say "once available".
