    Yep this is a kids game (3arch games are for the more adult / competitive gamers it seems) and to the people asking when the lag / hit register will get fixed. It has been over 6 months. You guys really still have hope for that to get anywhere near what mw2 was like online in its prime? lol...

    If it was 1 map, I could understand but 4 MAPS dedicated to 1 vs 1 challenges?

    I'm really disappointed with this next content drop.

    It's as if Battlefield and Modern Warfare are having a contest to see  who can disappoint their fans the most.

    So IW, Ghandi, when people were asking for 1v1 style (key term) maps they were'nt saying they literaly wanted 1v1, we were saying we wanted that smaller 1v1 style of map. Just using it as a reference. I mean the 1v1 2v2 stuff is fine, but I can guarantee you the maps would have been appropriate for 6v6 too. These guys are obsessed with huge, cluttered up, drawn out, multilevel maps now. The new studio has just come in and decided "Meh, we don't like fast paced COD gameplay." "We side with the campy types, and slow paced, creepy crawly playstyles." Where are the Rust, Nuketown, Shipment style maps for this game? All map styles should be included. Turning into a P*ssy game now man.

    That's what I get almost every day.

    My cousin was playing when that happened. He always ends up getting the craziest crap happening to him like this, but never quite this bad. I was in such disbelief with how obvious the game is now saying "f*ck you" that I had to post it. Nothing weird was happening at the time. Noone left the game at the time, nothing. This really is just what people are going through every day, yet they can't reproduce it and figure it out. This happens all the time in varying degrees of obsurdity.

    just finished playing for a few hours on 1.13....

     

    jeez....man if you thought the spawns were bad before. Seriously you're not going to believe it.

     

    I just spawned, and a second later THREE other guys all spawned right on top of each other smack bang in front of me in a FREE FOR ALL.(I mean RIGHT on top of each other as in the same spawn point) easy triple for me this time - but what when we're on the recieveing end?

     

    @Ghandi - There's nothing wrong with having to move round the map to find some kills, I don't need them spawning in front of me - it's like shooting fish in a barrel, and where's the fun in that?

    Had bad spawns on Carbon a couple hours ago. When I was killed, I respawned into a guy that was shooting and moving towards me!

    The update to Sit Rep/Dead Silence was in the recent PS3 patch (which is to obviously add the new maps come Thursday).

     

    Everything seems to work pretty good (that SR now counters DS as it was intended) but using them both together seems to put the user under the impression that they are not using DS (if you combine SR with DS, you'll be able to hear yourself walking as if you didn't have DS) - however, I tested it with a friend and you still maintain the intended effects of DS (quiet footsteps to everyone else), it's just that one leads to believe that they are walking with loud footsteps.  Dead Silence alone is fine, it's just when you combine Sit Rep with it, the "my own footsteps" are audible again.  Not sure if this was intentional, but judging by the lack of solid and consistent updates, I'd say this will be a permanent feature.

     

    Still no lobby ticker countdown for PS3 though.
