Do you and the team have any plans to address DLC map rotation and quicker inclusion of the maps into the regular rotation?
It has made being a premium Elite subscriber virtually pointless.
We can easily make DLC maps appear more often in the rotation of the non Elite playlists. I'll speak to the team about this tomorrow.

GHANDI,
Perhaps it's been answered already, but are we ever going to get additional customization ability to private game types? For instance why can't we make a private All or Nothing game type? I was saddened to find out that I could not play this privately with friends when it launched in the community playlist.
You could really take a page out of Bungie's book when it comes to their in game customizations, map editing aside, which was a huge accomplishment in itself.
Perhaps these options are already there and I'm just not seeing them? Lemme know!

All or Nothing was invented by a community player in Private Match (his GT is the name of the class you can select in game) using the parameter switches provided.

How sad they're not going to change the shotties. I mean, not all of them actually need changing, but some will still suffer. Geez Ghandi, you should put some sense inside that MP design team.
Anyway, good thing that they're going to change DMH. Oh yeah, almost forgot: Awesome news about the Dragunov, I know Arcanine will be very pleased to hear that =)

So is matchmaking getting to what MW2 was? I ask because that was the only COD game that seemed to work well matchmaking and hit-detection wise.

From what I saw in Black Ops, when you searched for a match, you sifted through all possibilities, then it eliminated the the matches in which you did not have the DLC for the current map being played or if it was a choice for the next map. This meant that in the standard playlists, if All players in the lobby had all DLCs they could play & join any of the matches . As soon as another player joined that lobby, if they did not have some of the DLC, it would then disable that DLC from showing up in future selections of that lobby until that player left again.
If you then also increased the DLC maps percentage of showing up you would most likely reduce the chances of DLC lobby being converted into a non-DLC lobby using this process I have tried to describe.
I know it sounds complicated but it is hard to type what I am thinking. (I hope this makes sense)

Ghandi, I have one more quick question for you. I am not 100 percent sure of this but I believe there was a change in host selection since MW2. If I remember correctly (I could be wrong) in MW2 when you connected to a 50ms ping host through the search that was the person that ended up being the host. It seems as though MW3 throws out that original host you connected to at a low ping and then picks another one before the match starts, which could have a much higher ping. If this is true is there any way we can have the old match making system back where you do not migrate to another random host before the match starts. It seems kind of counter productive to search for a low ping lobby if it ends up picking a different host before the match starts.
MW2 was leaps and bounds ahead in match quality when compared to Black Ops and MW3. As the old saying goes, "If it aint broke, don't fix it".

I am glad to hear that you guys at least had a weapon balance talk. But, may you please let us know how and why the weapon balance team (not pointing fingers at you) feel that Shotguns are fine the way they are? I am well aware you are tired of hearing about Shotguns, but it is something that we are passionate about.
Please consider watching this video that as already been posted before. It demonstrates the extreme inconsistency that Shotguns can suffer from:
