I find it rather disheartening that my peers interpret my experiences as either an outright lie or a matter of luck. They are neither. Spawns remain fine unless we lose control of the map and the enemy breaches our "home" flag (A or C) or two or more people on our team become overzealous and push into their home flag. Thus offsetting the balance of our spawn control.

Tactics is a good keyword, Smoke Nades are proably my most favorite nades for Domination, its helps you to get out of a bad spawns and helps capturing points, to bad we can not resupply Smokes with Scavenger, Smokes are very effective but barely nobody is using them.

The spawn logic in Domination was what have made the gamemode interesting to play in previous CoD games, but since the spawn logic in MW3 has changed (people spawn all over the place), the gamemode feels like TDM with 3 points to capture, its not about dominating the enemies team anymore.
If the devs are affraid of spawn trapping then how about creating intelligent maps which doesn't allow spawn trapping, instead of screwing up the spawn logic.

See I have been playing MW2 until MW3 gets a patch. but in MW2 you don't ever worry about who is behind you because the spawns are really good. In MW3 it's like every map is trying to be like shipment from COD4, groundwar nonetheless.

Dead mans hands as it currently stands is absurdly broken. Its like some dev said remember the javelin glitch from MW2 lets just make it a death streak. IW is dead to me and I will never spend another dime on anything IW touches in the future.
this is comnig from a long time fan I own every cod since COD2 and only play multiplayer. Its obviouse these games are no longer for the people who made COD the huge title it is today. I fell in love with cod during the COD4 beta and havent stoped playing since. these comments really leave a sour taste in my mouth thats for sure.
Wow, I never thought of it like that. It is basically the Javelin glitch. Mac's last comment on dead mans hand was more than enough logic, reason, and proof that the majority of the community hates it. There doesn't seem to be much reason not to nerf it, but has a death streak ever been nerfed before? The last stand thing in BO was not nerfing the deathstreak but the XP. I actually am starting to think that the devs don't have the ability to nerf death streaks. Perhaps the patch can't override the setting coded on the disc. In any case I hope that's not the case but it's starting to look like it. There is no reason dead mans hand should not be nerfed, I guess they don't have the ability to.

still havent touched the game in about 1.5 months, but still follow this thread for any glimpse of updates and fixes.
i got fed up knowing there was a chance i was put at a disadvantage connection/match making wise.
HOW is that fair or fun and why would i want to play a game with that in it?
spawns.... another reason i got fed up playing, i like domination, but shouldnt a game be about the objective and NOT revolve around controlling spawns? that logic is stupid to me.
sure keep the spawns sporadic but keep them FAIR enough to not have to worry about spawn "control" or some enemy dropping out of your ass behind you as you are trying to capture.
i want to play 'domination' (capture, control and defend flags) NOT worry about where to keep the enemy spawning and worrying if someone will spawn RIGHT behind me.
just rename it "Spawn Control" cuz clearly that is what its more about.
how is it fair when the logic births a guy behind me? how can i play the game mode properly if i have to keep my mind somewhat on where an enemy will appear?

Rundown and Invasion are very well designed maps for Domination because of the fair spawns (nobody spawns behind you), you could flank the enemies team with Ninja/Dead Silence and such, i loved Domination in MW2 so much, probably my most favorite game mode but then people have started abusing the Infinite Noob Tube Exploit and did nothing but shooting Noob Tubes into the sky, i would play MW2 to this days if they could patch the game.

I've played MW2 quite a bit the last couple weeks and rarely come across OMA noob tube lobbies. Sure, quite a few window campers and stuff, but I can consistently have fun on that game compared to MW3 where its hit or miss with sync and hit detection for me. The games I've been playing in recently have been surprisingly clean and fun.

Are you sure you're playing MW3? As far as I can tell, the Model is an assist machine. The Model is a sniper in the same way the Dragunov is a sniper. Excessively frustrating.

You may see it that way, but everybody else who plays the game knows the spawns are completely out of control.
I couldn't help but notice you said 'we lose control', so I'll assume you play in a party. I hate to break it to you but spawn trapping in a party doesn't require talent, especially against randoms, it's even easier to spawn trap in domination.
I don't have access to figures, but I'll estimate ~50% of players never play in parties, and of the ~50% that do, only about 15% actually play to win and have stratergies to control spawns such as your party.
My challenge to you is that you ditch your party for 2/3 hours, rush, yes no camping or headglitching with a type. Then post the results on YouTube. I'm sure it would make for an interesting watch.
