    I would guess it is more like: have someone fix the things that are easy to fix (ie. LMGs, can be done by one person), while at the same time have people working on the more complicated problems like spawns and connectivity.

     

    These problems aren't like peoples friggin homework, they are extremely complex with many vairiables and a solution is not easily found.  The people coding the game are not stupid, if it was as easy as half the people in here make it out to be the problem would have been solved 3 months ago. 

     

    GHANDI doesn't have to respond and it would seem that he has gotten tired of the useless complaining and implications that they don't know what they are doing.  Heres hoping he's using his time to help improve the game.

    Lol really? LMGs aren't ok. Please. And btw, the Devs are composed of multiple groups, so Spawn and Lag comp aren't handled by, for example, the Weapon rebalancing team.

     

    @GHANDI

     

    So, Ghandi, after reading through the weapon rebalancing thread (if you did), do you guys really don't plan to buff shotguns? Like, the ones that weren't buffed? Both Mr. Bowling and the patch notes say they all were rebalanced. Maybe it's time to actually tweek the rest? Thanks.

    I might continue proving IW/BHs sloppiness. But in order to add something constructive I would advise GHANDI to get some actual devs into this discussion because I'm afraid a lot of chinese whispers going on.

    I seem to recall you committing to provide us with more information regarding more pressing issues - like the lag-related videos you asked for & customers delivered.

     

    You can give a car a new paint job, replace the upholstery, slap on a fresh new set of tires, & hang a pine tree air freshener from the rear view mirror, but if the engine won't run, the car is useless for anything other than looking pretty in the showroom.

    Hi @G IH A IN ID II. This is regarding the netcode for 3-4 bars vs. 1-2 bars based on the 1.10 Title Update for the PS3.

    Yesterday, I was doing a Free-For-All on my new "for fun" account and ended up with 3 bars. And the Lag Compensation was perfect (as seen in the video) I was getting kills even though it looks like I am shooting no one in the theatre mode (hosts' view).

    Mid way, there was a Host Migration and poof! There were a lot of 4 bar players and I ended up getting 1 bar and there's another player with 2 bars from what I remember. The experience after that was horrible. As seen in the video, I only noticed the enemy a few seconds later by my reaction followed by where I was shooting and how far the enemy has ran from my line of fire.

    I hope this video could be of use to you to help you see the kind of timing needed for the 1-2 bar players. I still have the original full game in my vault if you ever need it. More explanation can be seen on the hardcoded captions in the video to explain the situation.

    @ GHANDI...did you guys mess with the spawns again?   I am guessing that you did.  I just raged quit due to the spawns that are beyond horrible.  I just finished playing a match on my PS3 on hardhat.  I started the match out 5-0 and was killed by one of the magically exploding barrells that appears to have been shot by no one.  I then spawned, didn't take one step and got shot in the back, spawned, got shot in the back, spawned, got shot in the back, spawned, got shot from the left and behind, spawned with dead mans hand, and guess what?  Got shot in the back after taking 2 steps.  I killed the guy who shot me with my taliban tactical nuke.  Spawned, and finished the map 18-8.  I went from 5-0 to 5-6 in a matter of 30 seconds without firing a shot and only taking 3 steps.  If I remember properly, you stated you play this game.  Would you continue to play when you don't even have a damn chance against this?  COD is suppose to be about fun.  But what fun is it being a stationary spawn target for this crap?  I'm beyond upset at the state of this game.  I have invested my money and my time to play all of the titles from COD4 to this installment.  And I can honestly say I have the least amount of fun with this one.  And heck, even the clan ops are failing.  The one scheduled for tonight is cancelled, go damn figure.  I appreciate your feedback, I hope you can feel my frustration aimed at the game and not you.  I am just venting trying to get someone to acknowledge that this is not fun anymore...period.

    LMG rebalance? Fair enough, but I could swear you've received at least two times more complaints about shotguns being bad than LMGs in the last one hundred pages, but have simply dismissed them.

    Any info regarding what that buff for the LMGs will be? Range, Damage, Recoil, and/or Sway?

    The spas-12, ksg-12, 1887, and aa12 do still need to be rebalanced clearly, but the LMGs were a class that literally next no one was using. Like, there was literally no excuse to not buff the LMGs considering how little they were used and how blatantly inferior they were to ARs with regards to everything that wasn't ammo count (worse range, worse recoil, worse sway, worse ironsight zoom, worse damage, etc)

    Fix the things that need to be fixed and can be fixed (such as LMGs, manual action shotguns, akimbo, game modes, map explots, etc.) and not waste time fixing things that for all we know aren't actually fixable (lag compensation, spawns on maps like Dome).

    Test, how does the KSG need buffing? It is quite consistent in its range and with Damage, it's pretty solid. Far more reliable than the 1887 for me. I know I asked before but I can't find the post anywhere

     

    Besides, I'd rather see the 1887, AA-12 and SPAS buffed far before the KSG, if that even needs one at all.
