    The Type-95 is too strong at it's current state. It Kills in 2 bullets. And when you combine Rapid Fire + Steady Aim, it becomes nearly as effective as a shotgun and SMG, while still maintaining it's mid to long range dominance aswell.

     

    Simply changing the damage to 45-30 keeps it plenty powerful... it becomes more of a skill-based gun, and even gets better at long range, taking only 4 shots as opposed to 5. It's probably the best way to balance it out.

     

    And people are crying about akimbo weapons seriously? WoW I mean just WoW go play it please.. It is two rapid fire weapons ofcourse it is going to kill you quickly that is how it is meant to be... WoW some people like to whine alot about silly things. I do not even use them and even when in a game against them I kill them easy with a sniper or with the FAD which is better then those easily.

     

    The problem isn't that their Akimbo, or that they're rapid fire. It's that their high RoF combined with easy to use cross-hairs makes them better while Akimbo and hip-firing than not, even at a decent distance. You shouldn't have to SNIPE someone who using Akimbo Machine Pistols, or hit them from a good distance away with an Assault Rifle. Anything outside of SMG range should be enough to take them down. They're secondary weapons for a reason, they're not designed to be these super powerful weapons capable of out-classing primary weapons.

    the Akimbo FMG9s have a glitch that when you run them akimbo each guns fire rate is doubled and their spray pattern is was to tight. i get the extra bullets when in akimbo but not giving each gun a higher fire rate when they are paired together Akimbo guns should have worse accuracy than their single gun counter part as duel wield weapons are almost impossible to keep on target.

    I can understand some of your points Kastro, but I still think the 95 is fine as is. Its not really OP as people cry about it. And towards the fmg's any akimbo weapon can do what they do. Get a akimbo pistols and they have almost no recoil and near perfect aim. So its not the weapon but how akimbo affects the weapons fire characteristics.

     

    And I have to disagree about not needing to stay out of distance, yes you should. If you get within its effective range it should mow your arse down quicker than a formula one race car traveling on a empty high way. You are firing two weapons and not one. so the damage is doubled, because two rounds are being fired at the same time.

     

    I have played against akimbo fmg players and beat them with a FAD, or the 95 or the acr or the usp. It is about knowing their optimum range and staying out of it. At that point they are no more powerful then any other weapon. Are they easy to use? Yes, so is any other akimbo weapon in the game.

     

    My point is it is not gun that is the problem but how akimbo effects the gun. Akimbo should slow down reload, and have increased spread pattern. But it seems to have the exact opposite effect when used.

     

    Burst weapons like the 95 should be able to kill in one burst if aimed correctly. It should not require two to kill someone. The famas of mw2 could kill in one burst if fired correctly. The m16 of BO could kill in one if fired correctly.

     

    Reduce the damage on the 95 and next it will be the FAD is OP, or the ACR. or the MK14 aka FAL in how it works.

     

    If they start nerfing now, then they might as well take out all other guns but one and have it only kill after the entire clip is emptied into someone.

    a simple comment to those who think the type 95 is overpowered: why don't you use it then?

     

    every overpowered weapon or weapon combo will have its shortfalls.. the fmg-9 akimbo can be hard to aim at medium to long distances, and the type 95 becomes relatively weaker at long distances. i always find myself getting hitmarkers on mission, shooting proned snipers in the head. i mean, a shot to the head with a beautifully crafted gun such as the type 95 should do the trick.. but i end up tapping 3-4 times at the long sniper shootout hotspot on the side of mission (where 'C' is in domination).

     

    gun balancing doesn't neccessarily have to mean making all guns equally good/powerful/effective. there have to be some favourites. some weapons that surpass others, but aren't gonna be helpful on ever map. like for me, the type 95 is more of a "Bakaara" type of gun.. not so much a bootleg, dome or hardhat for instance.

     

    i don't see anyone whining about the ACR.. that gun is simply a breeze to use. aiming is fantastically easy.

    so what exactly is hipsread?  And does this mean that the damage that the Type 95 did when you ADS was not nerfed?  If so, im happy with it.

    please don t fix the extended mags shotgun glitch or make make the shotguns (spas 12 and model1887 !!!!!!!!!) better.If you don t do hat you can put out these weapons out of the game and much people like the spas 12.
