First off, these problems have existed for more than a few weeks bub. Myself and bo2000 sent you multiple videos of this sync problems back in early february. And that was after a few months of being frustrated. And if you ever do resolve these issues, which at this point i doubt you will, I'd be willing to bet we will get a couple of posts saying that the patch will be postponed and the next thing we know it will be november 13; then you guys need to release more free dlc because this "syncing" issue was one of the biggest failings in gaming history. I know the average gamer/cod weekend warrior doesn't know or care about it, but people will remember it. Just look at whats happening with Mass Effect 3 and Diablo 3. Gamers aren't putting up with crap anymore. You guys need to reward us for sticking with you guys for this long. So, if it ever does get fixed I think a public apology and some more free dlc is in order. Have Tina or who ever put it out over twitter.
You can have a public apology from me now. I am sorry that the experience hasn't lived up to your expectations.

Ghandi,
I haven't postet yet because there have been enough frustrated players with evidence and theories and problems should have been solved since months. Instead every patch you put out does nothing at best and worsens lag/sync/IDK or matchmaking so bad that I put the game away for good.
I still read this forum because I'm curious how many cycles of "we got a hot lead" and "sorry we're losing you" there will be until you put out a new game with new issues.
Appart from losing people like djam, bo2000, operator1 and many more you haven't achieved anything relevant so far and blaming it on people who are "clever enough" to disturb your fragile lagcomp-thing is kind of ridiculous by now. If you and your developing team can't provide measures avoid advantages by throtling connections then you should develop anything but online multiplayer games. Am I right or what?

I have acknowledged that there are those that have issues of host disadvantage when hosting the game. The stuttering the host gets is caused by many things. Primarily server load. We have tried various fixes to these issues but haven't nailed the problem yet. There are code fixes that have been written which we could deploy which directly attack this issue, however, these are more pervasive than one would usually attempt in a live environment that supports the number of players we support each day.
Moreover, one primary impediment is that we don't know what exactly is occurring out in the wild. The next TU will include code that provides us with rich instrumentation on a platform by platform, region by region and session by session basis. This will not impact game performance.

Hey bud do you think we could now get some damages claims with what you just said??

Just syaing i would love to have part of my money back if it would hold up in court and help to prove liability lol...
How about you
Wait did he just admit a problem with the multiplayer online portion of MW3 someone help me i'm not sure?? lol

Theater does not impact gameplay. No extra host, nor client bandwidth is utilized in game for theater purposes. The server snapshots are asynchronously written to the local hard drive when received. This is a non blocking process.
I do not recall ever stating that the MW3 theater was better than that of Black Ops.

I think what Snipingdbag is trying to say GHANDI is that the stripped down version of Theater Mode in MW3 hasn't impacted the connectivity positively.
I can understand why you wanted to remove 1st person view of other players & Dolly Cam but the outcome of stripping it down didn't improve the connectivity as a whole.
Personally, I still believe Black Ops theater mode is better despite a few issues with frame rate but MW3 stripped down theater mode didn't do alot to improve the frame rate issues.

You know ghandi instead of just banning me we could simply have a civil discussion for once. I think it would show at least a small level of concern for our problems and suggestions if we could move the discussion over to our thread. As long as there is actual discussion taking place we don't feel so abandoned.

Banned you? I haven't banned you.
There's been a lot of discussion and a resolution. I'm sorry if you feel abandoned.

Hi Ghandhi
I have a small query:
It takes no time to get a UAV, but it takes 6-9 kills to get copters, AH6 overwatch and pavelow.
If someone is running a stinger, it takes ~5 secs to shoot any of air supports down.
But its just impossible to spot UAVs? Is there any reason why UAVs are so powerful? Is there a easy way of spotting the tiny UAVs? Am I missing anything?
Shouldnt the easily earned UAV be equally easy to destroy? I know that theres a lot on your plat in term of fixing stuff - but can you atleast get this discussed? Can we please either reduce radius of UAV movement or increase the size of UAV?
Thanks

When I say we think we have something that will improve the situation I mean it, We wouldn't still be working on the game if we thought our endeavors were futile. I have not 'blamed' the situation on anyone. I have said that those who throttle their connection in any way that induces consistent latency on their outbound packet stream yet leave inbound packet rate untouched exacerbate the problem. I'm sorry but this is a fact. Is it the root of the issue? No. Does it negatively impact the experience of the overall player base. Yes.
We can, and probably will in future, provide measures which combat this behavior. This is non trivial and care must be taken to avoid false positives but the problem is not intractable.
Thanks for joining the dialogue.

They chose to shut down a lot of people. Maybe some of them had it coming but some clearly got one someones nerve so he told someone else how civilized this thread would be if they would just vanish. This is poor because many players here have a valid reason to be mad and IW does a lousy job to help or compensate.
People like Macc might say it's so awesome of Ghandi to talk to us, but it's just distraction like "As long as they're talking, they won't kill me" (Hunger Games).

Firstly, I amended that reply within seconds. It's perhaps the first time I let my temper get the better of me on these forums and I am disappointed in myself that I snapped. Below is what I edited the post to immediately,
Secondly, I have had nothing to do with banning Brick2urFace. I do not have the forum rights to do so.

I have a hard time with this sort of post Brick2urFace. I've been nothing but polite in our interactions to date. I understand that you do not like the outcome since things have not been changed to the settings you desire but please keep the dialogue civil or don't participate.
