Interesting to see that the last 2 hours worth of posts have magically disapeared.  I only wish the lag/sync issues would do the same,...but alas...

I believe Foxy is cleansing the thread with all the shotgun discussion going on.

Back on topic, I've got to ask from reading your posts over the last few weeks, you seem to have so many problems with lag/sync around 90% of time.

Don't get me wrong, the game can lag to a considerable amount (for me, it's mostly hosting) but not to the point where it's unplayable 90% of the time. When I 3 bar or 4 bar to the host, the game is playable compared to hosting

But again, this could be more of a PS3 issue than XBOX 360 & I hope GHANDI doesn't take my post as the final verdict of the lag sync issues.

I'm not trying to offend you but instead of telling GHANDI over & over again that you're quitting or you're not buying another IW COD title isn't really helping your cause in sorting your issues out with lag/sync.

Maybe answering a few of my questions will assist GHANDI in sorting out yours & possibly many other players issues of the game.

    1) What is your current connection & what speeds do you get (D, UPL, Ping etc)

    2) Where are you currently matchmaking with (after the matchmaking patch)

    3) Do you play Solo or in a Party?

    4) How often do you host matches?

Also, have you saved clips of when you felt bs'd on? I know Theater isn't the best representation but it's definitely better than nothing. Examples: The insta-kill deaths, dying around corners, poor hit detection etc. If you have theater mode switched off, turn it on & start saving these clips.

Lastly, from a statistical point of view, has your K/D & Accuracy stats etc taken a massive drop since the last COD game which has less sync issues for you? i.e. MW2/COD4/WAW

I believe one certain forum member, "DedicatedServersPlease" posted a while back his accuracy drops from MW2/Black Ops to MW3 which was astounding.

I know K/D isn't the best representation of skill but if you were once a 2+ K/D player in MW2 & suddenly you barely go positive in matches due to lag/sync issues in MW3, then I would consider it odd.

Don't take it personally but maybe GHANDI could get more info from you from posting these type of information rather than telling him over and over again on how you aren't playing or not buying any future IW titles.

    Just my opinion anyway.

Vimms,  a 5 minute abreviated summation of what i wrote..... Upload 5 meg, download 30 meg.  Can ping anywhere in the US within 60ms with 10ms or less jitter and 0 packet loss.  I have my PS3 hardwired to my modem and have my modem (NOT ROUTER) set up in DMZ to where my PS3 has no firewalls, etc going out or in.  I get host about 90% or more of the time.  I have told GHANDI that I have a theater clip showing how bad that match was.  It was so bad that the theater showed skipping etc and asked if he wanted to look at it.  The silence was deafening.. I'm not going to write everything else I said due to how long it would take me to type it again.  I'm can type very quickly but I don't want to sit here for an hour and a half writing a post on a forum.  Suffice to say, if I wanted to, I could get a 2.5 or better K/D on this or any other COD game.  However, I'm an objective player and want to win the match.  Not beat my chest saying how good I am like the young punks who dashboard to keep their precious K/D...just sayin..

Apologies for the removal of content which may have been accompanied with shotgun discussions, however it's been stated numerous times to take the shotgun balancing content outside of this particular thread into other existing ones.

    • Profanity laced outbursts will not be tolerated.

    • Refusing to abide by our requests only makes for an irritable thread.

Let's return to constructive discussion again.

The forums have been broken since release. I've asked them to fix them, but no luck. Your best bet? Learn to CTRL + A --> CTRL + C back to back anytime you finish typing up your post. This way, when you lose it, you can just paste it back in with a new reply.

    @kastro

PM me your issues with the forum to see if we can press them to revisit any issues.

What you are describing is a direct symptom of the issue we are going to address as soon as possible. Additionally, clan operations could have exacerbated this phenomenom further. I won't go into why publicly lest the situation worsens.

I apologise for the frustration you, and others, are suffering.

I'm glad you calmed down. This response is only partially directed at you decisiveblow mainly because I find the 'lining your pockets' comments particularly hard to hear. Speaking personally if that was my sole motivation then I wouldn't be present on these forums listening to complaints. I'd be spending my leisure time in a vastly different fashion. I realise the angst and occasional insults come from a place of frustration; one of wanting the game to be better and to function to one's satisfaction. It is this same exact reason that I visit these forums to interact with you. I truly want to improve MW3. I'm gutted that those posting aren't having a good time.

The reason I wouldn't publicly state what I thought in the previous post has absolutely nothing to do with liability. The reason is that I do not want to exacerbate the lag/sync situation further.

    Respectfully,

The insults do come out of frustration but also we, the consumer also feel insulted. This you must understand; numerous times we have been told we're imagining issues, the problem isn't there etc. (Not from you to be exact, but across the history). We've been insulted by this shambolic game that we've paid for.

I won't revisit the 'lining your pockets' theory again as I've stated reasons for that theory in previous posts. I will however say again that I feel robbed by the fact I get to buy one game a year as a student, I bought your game; hardened edition. And naively took your word that things will be fixed and not to return the game. I and others waited 3 months for Beachhead to get it's act together and near to 7 months for IW to fix this game. Again, for emphasis; 7, whole, months. Your apologies do not cut it Steve, I wish they would but as the common saying goes; 'actions speak louder than words'.

I may come across as persecuting here. But someone has to hold their hands up in this and say 'my fault, my bad'. Then and only then will they feel how their customers feels.

Furthermore, how would sharing details with the public 'exacerbate' things? To that extent, I am curious. As people feel better when you tell them things that you think is the issue and therefore feel like things are going to be fixed (cynicism: whether they're going to be fixed or not).

Hands fully held high "My fault, my bad". I'll also send you a PM.

To illustrate my point say, for example, there was a button press combo in a lobby that added latency to all players in their session (there most certainly isn't BTW) then revealing this would exacerbate the lag and latency problem by an order of magnitude. I hope my reservation about revealing certain details makes sense in light of this example.

    Cheers,

I can lag the entire lobby in game when I'm host. It is a simple button sequence. PS3

Will the upcoming fix for sync issues completely fix the issues or just revert it to pre TU .14?

Still doesn't make me feel any better.

I doubt it does anyone else. Maybe a free pinata of Robert Bowling and a baseball bat to all customers of CoD next time? I jest to lighten the mood but I doubt you can comprehend my disappointment in this game. You don't do beta to meet deadlines. And so the game is riddled with issues. You tell everyone the game undergoes 'suitable' testing, and in-house beta that leaves idiotic issues with theatre overlooked.

The list goes on. I'm done and bored of arguing my point. Although others will agree, you'll have plenty of other angry customers ready to give their detrimental opinions.

EDIT: PM has been replied to. Good night one and all.
