Prestige 10 (reset all stats)

Ok, i just want to make this thread for all quesitons regarding 10th prestige Stat resets...

I have seen multiple answers to this question..

1. What exactly gets reset?

So, What does exactly get reset...

-All Stats kills, deaths, wins, loss, etc will be reset...

Now, for the Combo Breaker!!

If you choose to reset all stats, You go back to Prestige 1, just like you never played the game before? Is this true...

Do you lose all emblems, titles, etc?

Will you get your prestige tokens again? or do you even need them...

Im hoping that a fact can be put in place for those of us that choose to go this route...

Hopefully Bowling or a Sledgehammer game rep will respond to this, or atleast somebody point me in the direction of a confirmed FAQ for this question (s)

I doubt we will get any official response. We will just have to wait until someone does it. This could be any day now considering how religiously some people play the game. you can always tweet one of the activisions guys with your question. try ATVIMikey

        haha i was just wondering. you are pretty much right where i am as well. I saw some guy with 5 days in last night, almost done with the 4th prestige.

        I know and he went 10-19, 11-21, and 16-17 when i played with him. I expected him to be way better!

        In his defense he did barely have over a 1 kd. He always got a ton of experience by using that predator drone thing and tagging everyone.

I'm sure Foxhound will shead some light on it when he sees this

I cant see it setting you back to level 1 though, that would suck a lot lot and I would guess noone would do it

  Well it wouldnt really suck if you get all your pristege tokens back, if it did reset you back to vanilla rank 1 then that just been you simply choose the vanilla rank 80 emblem over the pristege 10 emblem.

YOU get reset back to prestige 1..why would there be unlock gear and token custom classes then? it doesn't get reset since you paid for them...the idea of the whole prestige shop is so the multiplayer never ends.You people can't grip the concept of it can you?..you keep pretiging getting tokens and buying unlocked gear then reset all over again with the custom classes and unlocked gear ....if it's not like that the the creative strategist are not smart.

  for the people that prestiged to 10, then want to reset there stats, the choice should be theres, and it is..
  
  However, the choice should also be upto the person to keep all there unlocks, titles, emblems, etc.. after all, we are the ones working for them... prestige is something earned, and if you ask me, you the player have earned the right to reset your stats, all or none, keep your tokens, etc... its upto you.. everybody has the same opportunity if taken...
  
  i just want to know a definate answer and how it breaks down...

    Weapons, Perks, Emblems, Equipment, are not stats, it will be your K/D W/L and Accuracy and so on, but i wonder if it will knock you of the leaderboards aswell, we will prob find out next week about the prestige thing, when some crazed redbull fiend hits 10th with a 0.09 KD

I'm not sure if I could see the reset button taking away titles and such...but I'll let you know if the whole world doesn't before I get to 10th lol. I'm middle of 4th prestige right now. And I do know w/e weapons you unlock with tokens you keep through each prestige if that's what one of the comments was asking earlier.

  well one thing i heard was it removes everything, not just stats.. EVERYTHING, just like you never played the game before...
  
  even though you may have 20 days played by then, you go back to being NOOB! lol..
  
  i dont think its true though... guess time will tell since devs dont like talking about FAQ's with there games

just because someone plays bad does not mean anything if they are a high prestige doesn't mean they are a booster i shoot down every single killstreak you see its insane how much you rank up i used a prestige token to unlock the stinger at lvl 4 and ranked up insainly fast so not everyone is a booster

  exactly KRYAN1.. i am not concerned with my k/d right now.. im going around shooting down killstreaks, and bagging tags running carelessly thru the maps just to grab tags and get xp boosts.. thats why reset stats is important to me later.. hell im at a 1.20 k/d and i never stop running around... could be better but it is what it is...
  
  letting me reset my stats would be cool, but i damn sure dont want to lose my rank that im playing for...

I always imagined you get some really "bad-ass" emblem or title if you reach 10 and reset.
Just reseting, clean-slate..like you've never played the game would be pointless.

  One token, only available at 10th. It's in the Prestige Shop.
  
  I'm still wondering if your rank gets reset. I know your stats do and callsigns don't.

bump, I would love to know the exact details of what you keep and lose. I've checked a few places and the information is conflicting. Anyone have the facts about this please?

  you keep nothing at all . its like you have just bought the game, you do get your tokens from previous CODS but they take a couple of days to appear

    you lose everything but your leaferboard stats ie k/d, wins, kills, captures. had a friend just do it and after he reset he still had like 20k kills in domination on the lobby leaderboard
