Connecting to online service

every time i open MW3 on PC an i press "Play" i always get this "connecting to online service" an it takes like 10 mins to connect.. And when it don't connect they telling me that some server is down......Have a 5MB connection an linksys wrt120n router an i open all the ports...Can someone help with this..

    I am having the same trouble as you were having a few months ago, wondering if anything has changed for you? Have you gotten the online services to designate for Modern Warfare 3 on PC yet?

Port forwarding and such. Nope, I don't comprehend it, not to say I can't operate it, I just don't know what it all means. (Such is life, haha...)

    Okay I'm bumping this **** because it's really pissing me off now. The game's been unable to connect for the past two days.

     

    Any suggestions (besides resetting your router/modem, starting Steam web browser while in-game, etc)?

      it appears that this is the million dollar question that IW refuses to address. the inability to connect to the mw3 servers have been persisting since the game released, and it is baffling everyone at tech support just as much as your or i. it seems random from my experience, and a total pain in the ass. if any1 comes up with any solutions to this please let us know

        and i'll bump this again becuase cod can kiss my arse.  been over a week and I have wasted more time on this god forsaken game, when i should have been making sweet love to my wife.  Now my wife is pissed.  I will not piss her off again by buying another cod game.

    I HAVE the same ******* problim fr 4 months **** my god and the ******* bastards dont help me!i want to kill them all
