It would probably get you a quicker response if you contacted Infinity Ward or Activision about your situation.   There is a board here for technical difficulties. Have you tried posting there?  Not sure if or how often they read the posts in the regular threads.

got exactly the same problems! mainly it's the damn "disk read error".

tried everything like probably any of yours, but no solution. you are not alone!

They aint going to do **** about this.. i was on the phone with activision and they game me the run around. saying you try deleting you deta and reinstalling it.. i've done this 50 time and still "disk read error" and game crashes my ps3 and have to hard reboot it.. they need to fix this **** soon.. my friends have no prob with this only a few of us do i guess. that why they aint doing ****! i've tweeted  IW/SHG & activision so much they prob. blocked me they only thing they say is " you call sony about this"? it's not my system my Bluray player plays disk fine other games work.. it's this mw3 game thats messing things up..! PLEASE keep posting in here maybe they will read this and some one will do somthing about this ****!
