If you playing and there a kid that 8-12yrs old should they get ban because the game is 18 and over.
yea they ruin the game for exsample i was in a game the other day and this kid starts screaming cause he got a reaper drone. Another exsample is in search and destroy i wont do into it but from my experience if u are an under aged CoD player please just stay out of that ONE game mode
Why 8-12? If its 18 then it should be everyone under 18 correct? Can't just pick and choose. Either way it wouldn't happen because the 18 and under make up the majority of the players in COD and make up the majority of activisions profits.
No don't ban them, they are easy kills. Just mute them.
I report every squeaker the very moment i hear the weasel start talking.
They need to just make an auto mute for the idiots who can't shut their mouths on the mic or think it's cool to play music over the mic.
No there should just be a simple addition to the report function, report for verbal harassment. You get enough reports against you, you lose your ability to use the mic in the game.
Agreed 100%. And for everyone complaining about the 12yr olds ruining the game, I would prefer a function that just removes any idiot, regardless of age, because frankly their are just as many 18+ idiots that run around being dumbasses as 12 yr olds.
I say 12 & under because somebody the 16 or older should be mature enough 2 plays.but I think there should be a report button for 18 and under.
I am having such a hard time understanding this, but trust me most 16+ aren't mature enough to play this game. It all depends on the person.
Ban all kids under 18.
If a parent showed their 12 year old child porn films or a horror film I'm sure the Police or Social Services would would step in so how come they have absolutely no interest in parents giving them an 18 certificate game containing violence and scenes of graphic nature?
Anyone who agrees with OP is an idiot, it's not illegal for kids to be playing Xbox Live or M-rated games. The ESRB is just a GUIDLINE for parents, not a LAW. Besides, kids under the age of 17 probably make up more than 50% of the CoD community, and you can't blame them for stupid crap in the game--most 20-40 year olds are just as obnoxious and immature. God I hate these threads.

just because something is profitable doesnt make it right, wether its illegal or not manufacturers have a morale responsibilty to ensure children below a certain age do not get exposed to adult material, especially violence. It all boils down to parenting really. A simple parental control linked to xbox accounts would solve the issue, with parents having the option to turn it off similar to your Sky box. This is not and never should be a kids game.
The developrs do not have a moral responsibility as you like to claim they have a responsibilty to their stock and share holders to make a profit and that is it.
Xbox does have that ability to limit what sort of games a kid can play online, but if the parents chose not use it that is their fault and not xbox or ms or the game developers.
um if your under 18 gamestop or other retailers cannot sell you the game. I was at the midnight release and seen parents with their 9-14 yr olds letting them drink red bull play cod and stay up for a midnight release on a school night,.... It's lazy parenting, bc they figure hey thats a baby sitter or the next year lol
NO KID UNDER 18 SHOULD PLAY COD! PERIOD. I think no one under 18 should be able to play online against other people but thats just me.
But again its all about parenting and I hear moms asking their sons to not take **** and curse back etc...
I just ask that kids stick to anything but HC SnD hahah
If that was the case, Activision would lose at least 50% of their sales.
Mostly the Xbox and UK population. (just sayin)

No... I allow my two boys to play.
I neither need nor want XBL, ATVI, or you to decide what I can allow my children to play.
Also, the game is rated M... this is a guideline and not a legal age requirement in the US.
Let the kids under 13 play. Just dont give them mikes.

I think you should learn what the ESRB ratings mean. If you're Euro... cool for you and you can do what you want across the pond.
It's not illegal in the USA... as it shouldn't be.
How about the kids who keep yelling into their mics about doing someone's mom, like for harassment.
They def. wouldn't do it though, because that would mean less money.
The ESRB is just a guidline and not a law in the US. So anyone can play the game regardless of their age here.
No, don't ban the kids - let's make a more child-friendly version of MW3 instead:
Instead of kids, let's ban idiots.(Say goodbye to the people who agree with the OP.) I like that idea better.
